We aren’t winning the league with that midfield.

Play Nygren as a no.10, or not at all.

  4. Must win game today , very concerned about the start we usually make to games after an international break ; I’d settle for the first 20 minutes keep the ball away from our goal , ball into big Tam , play for runners , Benji and Daizen

  7. Deserved red for Jambo , you can’t do that.

2-2 sees Huns off the top , we must win today , not bothered how !

We aren’t winning the league with that midfield.”

    That`s the spirit.

  9. A win today is simply vital. A win today and with 4 home games to come, we’d be in with a chance.

That red for Hearts was pathetic imo. There’s no way that’s DOGSO.

I was hoping for a Livi win today, but I’ll take it.

I’ve been moaning about the midfield for a while so pleased to see CalMac and AOC playing together.

No excuses today – 3 points and we’re right in the hunt with 6 to play, 4 of which are at home.

Great result from Livi. Hertz can’t win away and have still to go to Easter Road, Fir Park and Parkhead.

Huns have got 4 away games – Falkirk, us, Tynecastle and either Hibs or Falkirk again. Tough run for a modest team.

IF we can win today we are in decent shape with 4 home games, including the huns and Hertz. Wouldn’t fancy us at Fir Park and either Easter Road or Falkirk. None of the top 3 look great away from home. Let’s hope today is an exception.

Nygren as one of the midfield three away from home is a huge gamble.

  13. Win today,it’s back in our own hands again.

    C,mon Hoops,you know what’s at stake.

  14. Again, win today, and next week is massive for the other two.Pressure on,but we have to win.

Win today,it’s back in our own hands again.

and still the same for the other two top teams.

  17. Feel extremely nervous about this.

Today is pivotal. We have had more lives than a cat this season. Step up or it’s over.

  18. An Dun – I agree. Hearts had a couple of players who would have closed him down once he tried to run towards goal. The foul was literally on the touchline at the half way.

Hope OX has managed to improve his fitness I’ve the last couple of weeks. We need a physical presence and he will need to cover Nygren who will be pushing forward.

Thought Trusty was injured the other night?

  19. Anyone just logging in to BBC Sport would think that Hearts have put in a heroic fight against the odds to salvage a point in adversity…

The BBC Sport link to their match report reads “10-man Hearts held at Livi”.

They has a player sent off 30 seconds from the end of the 7th and final minute of 4 minutes added time for God’s sake. I’m not sure that really qualifies as “10 man Hearts”!

  20. A 2 goal win for the good ghuys today (and surely we’re due at least ONE win in Dundee this season!) would mean that a 2 goal win in our home game against Hearts would put us above them on goals scored, with the same number of games played (all else being equal). Let’s just do it…
