  1. So, we sell VVD, Forster and Watt and release Sammi.

We buy one player and bring in four loans.

And Celtic are, apparently, one of the best run clubs in the world?!

What a pile of equine manure.

I know that tomorrow, despite promising myself not to, I’ll check in with SkySports and that knob Jim White only to be disappointed (yet again) as the window “slams shut”.

We will then be scraping the barrel to see if any free agents are about and will kid ourselves that new players will come in January.

    Sack the board.

Anyone who stayed to the end on Tuesday was left in no doubt that the big man was for the off. He said his goodbye to the fans.

Bringing a player like VVD to the club on the cheap, developing him and selling him for really big money 2 or 3 years later is a good strategy. Selling for half-decent money after only one year when you’ve been pumped out of the CL is not a strategy! It is complete and utter failure!

The accounts will look good and the CEO and FD performance bonuses will be tidy. It’s madness for a football business to financially reward employees substantially while the football operation fails so badly.

Look at that starting eleven today, or even Tuesday for that matter…if you can’t see the downsizing in quality, then you really are a fool.

    Lawell and Park GTF!

  3. So the next question for all of us is what are we going to do about it. Because I would dearly love to save celtic from a seemingly ignominious end?

On res12 my apologies. I am just very frustrated but it’s certainly wrong to pick on those trying to get the right end. But it should take the support to do that should it?

Unless your strategy is to cover up the corruption and return to normal as if nothing happenned…….oh wait!!!!

Maybe just more people seeing things as they actually are rather than things being any different.

HAHHA so base, but there’s a wee ego hurting in there………..

You are a double agent ain’t you ? Must be, comical, beyond parody if that ain’t the case.

  7. Okay open question.

Who is still supporting Peter and the now open strategy of waiting for the return of the Hun and pretending nothing happenned?

    Speak out now!

  8. Am I being naive to think that Virgil is the one who’s pushing the move rather than St Peter?

Celtic at minus 1, 5/4. Fill yer boots!

  9. So it would seem that some players are guaranteed a game irrespective of their performance in the previous game.

  10. VVD wants to leave.

Personally I’d keep him, stick him in the reserves until he improves technically and his attitude matures.

Too much player power these days.

Wee Gordon being slightly disingenuous on BT….

    Ross McCormack, £11m, yada yada….

*he disnae want tae stay…what part of that do you not understand…he’s also overrated and will be found out elsewhere…as for the poster that said he’s the best centre half at Celtic that he’s seen…he must be about 3 or 4.

  13. tommytwiststommyturns on

Jobo – VVD was asked if he was staying and he said that he wanted CL football….we’re out so he’s off. Will he get CL football at a mid-table EPL side…NO !

    Q. Did you get your new Share Certs – Ordinary Shares of 1p each through the post “Scrip Dividend Scheme”

Tontine Tim – I understand completely, but I wasn’t just talking about VVD in my post. Where’s the fabled strategy?! Who’s next summer’s big money transfer…?!
