  1. A great away victory.

Aberdeen are on 71 points from 33 games. They can still get to 86 points if they win every game including their remaining tie against us.

After winning tonight we are now on 79 points and so we need another 8 points to clinch the title.

Our next 3 games are Dundee Utd (away on Sunday), Dundee (home game on Friday 1 May), Aberdeen (away on 10 May). Win the first 2 and a draw at Pittodrie would do.

However, before they next play us Aberdeen have 2 tough looking away games – Inverness then Dundee Utd. Were they to drop anything at all we could then win the league by securing 6 points rather than 8 – so 2 more wins, clinching the title at home on Friday 1 May.

Which would be a fine start to the bank holiday weekend.

  3. the long wait is over on

We really need to learn to see a game out but , given all that’s happened this week , that is a massive , massive three points.

  4. Pity Adam Mathews wasn’t playing tonight

Could have blamed him for the Dundee Goal :-)

Phew! Well done Celtic. Victory is all that matters at this stage of the season.

  6. And in The Championship with 2 games to go Hibs, having won 3-1 tonight, are 1 point off 2nd place with a goal difference that is 2 better.

Hibs last 2 games are at home to Alloa then away to Falkirk.

Their rivals for 2nd place have a home game against Falkirk and finish away to Hearts.

All play off games will take place in Gaelic ;-)

  10. well done bhoys – great spirited performance. lively , fast and dangerous. 3 points very important , performance was decent but for some defensive weaknesses which have in fact been there all season. Fix this and we can be solid next season.

though Biton was pure celtic class tonight – if he could add goals to his repertoire he’d be phenomenal.

GMS looks like he came from a top continental european side!

  13. That’ll do for me, three points and a step closer. Well done Celtic.

A wee bonus the hibs winning…the return of the hunchbacks tomorrow at work.

  14. Well done The Hoops.Great 3 points after Sunday.

Well done the Hibees.2 goals better off than the Huns.
