The reason we signed CKR – he was available at a bargain price because of an off the park issue.
Surely anyone looking at his CV would not have signed him for Celtic.
I agree with an earlier poster, I`d rather see someone from the Dev Squad given a chance. He couldn`t do worse.
Also who would sign someone suspended 6 matches for biting who is not Suarez?
The rangers can rightly claim to be back. Like fiorentina do. Like all clubs that have had to reform and start again. The clue is in reform for me.
Football punishment is starting again at the bottom but what doesnt change is the soul of the club. Unfortunately for us that means rangers return.
The club that cheated got the ultimate fitba punishment. The administrative punishment is in the post. Hopefully.
The sfa and spfl haven’t been punished.
But, they will have more season ticket holders than us next season. They will be playing in blue. They will be playing from ibrox. They will be seen as challengers.
Yeah they are back. We just need to get on with it.

Re the Newspeak reporting today on BBC Oceania about ‘Rangers’ being ‘back’.
Here’s what they had to say in their evidence to the BBC Trust following greetin’ from various Zombies about, ahem, inaccurate reporting back in June 2013.
“A football club once incorporated is indistinguishable in Scots law from its corporate identity.
If the club was separate it would need its own constitution, committee members, trustees, etc.
Rangers Football Club does not have that because it is incorporated.”
Any other version of this truth is risible, as Law Lords have recently confirmed, even ridiculing argument put forward by counsel that the law had yet to catch up with football, and stating that the club does not float in the ether somewhere above or below the company.
So what changed,BBC Scotland?

Although we hit the woodwork twice and had loads of corners there were not so many clear chances created and shots were not raining in on the Dundee goal.
The defence were fine with Tierney confirming he is definatly the real deal and Boyata is getting more assured by the game.
Up front nothing was coming off for the Griff . He was fast and eager but not deadly. Roberts looked like he could have been the match-winner while GMS, barracked by the home fans never convinced and should have been hooked much earlier. Johansons passing was poor and many promising attacks came to nothing because of him. Broonie – getting better but still not fireing on all cylinders. Biton was ok except for his shooting. Deila made poor substitution decisions.

I don’t post much but I think a lot and as I have some spare time this morning, I thought I’d share a few of them. I may go on a bit so feel free to scroll by.
5 points clear, vastly superior goal difference and 6 games to go including one against the team who you are 6 points ahead off, any team in the world would take that scenario.
I understand our frustration at times about the quality of our play but my view has always been, and will always be, faithful through and through. That’s what being a Celtic supporter since attending my first game in 1971 at the age of 7 has been all about for me.
When I think we’re not playing great, I recall memories of past eras and convince myself that things are not as bad as they have been previously.
I then think about 10 men winning the league in 1979, the amazing 2-0 victory v Real Madrid in March 1980 (my best 16th birthday present), followed a couple of months later by George McLuskey getting in the way of Danny McGrains pile driver to win us the Scottish Cup (I still think Danny’s shot was going in by the way), Love St to win the league in 1986, beating Hearts and Dundee Utd at Hampden to win the Scottish Cup in our Centenary season, Roy Aitken’s shy and Joe Miller’s goal to win the cup again in 1989, the joy of the 1998 league title (was glad to be on holiday the following week), MON’s treble season in 2001, getting to see the most amazing player (in my memory) Henrik Larsson for 7 seasons before he went on to play with Barcelona, being in the Fondo Stand (Row H) in Seville in 2003 (4 months before our wedding so a case of heart ruling head financially – for both of us thankfully) winning the league at Tannadice in 2008 for Tommy Burns, seeing so many brilliant Champion’s League nights in Paradise especially Nakamura’s free kick goal and Artur Boruc’s penalty save v Man Utd etc, etc. I could go on and on but I guess my point is that the good memories don’t just make being a Celtic supporter worthwhile, they make it a joy and a privilege.
As for the media and the fans of the Newco, I used to get angry, annoyed and frustrated at them but now I don’t.
Instead, when they talk pish, I use the best weapon we all have available to us, I smile at them and do you know what, they don’t know how to retaliate.
Someone (can’t remember who) once sang about a picture painting a thousand words, well a smile at a Hun or a media person paints 3 words but they mean much more than any thousand ever will – my smile to them simply says, “you’re talking pish.”
We’re back where we belong – Smile

We should be giving as much support as we can to get us over the line but we need a massive clearout in the summer, starting with the manager.
