All they had to do was put a motion to reject application of a new club that did not have any qualifications to join SFA. They then never asked for Campbell Ogilvie to be sacked. Allowed TITLES to be given to new club. Allowed hand picked referees for the Huns games in lower leagues.. Nimmo Smith disgrace , Celtic said nothing Lawell and DD are both either cowards or in with the Masons. And as for ion the pitch? Deliberate destruction of the team.. someone buying players who a blind man can see are not good enough for Celtic. or even junior football in some cases. No youth structure to get players into team.. We are an old slow team need a new manager now before end of season. We will win nothing. The only thing that has stopped Aberdeen being level with us was injury to Rooney. If it had happened to LG instead we would be trailing

Legally they are a new entity.
The ASA ruling article points this out – and also confirms that the club was liquidated.
The matter was also looked at by Sunday Herald lawyers who passed the newspaper ad for publication.
Various court cases, such as Charles Green’s pursuit of legal expenses case, also heard evidence and judges’ opinions on the legal status of the club.
There is no doubt that they are a new legal entity.
I asked Tom English the other day if they were demoted. After having to coax out an answer he said no. He also said on Twitter that they weren’t relegated.
How then did a club that finished second in the league end up in the fourth tier and why wasn’t this club playing in Europe the following season?
Well in the pre-season they had to cancel a match in Le Harve because they weren’t a football club! They had no licence to play football anywhere.
They were an off the shelf company which had acquired assets from the Administrators after a failed CVA meant liquidation and the death of the business.
The business was the football club as defined in its articles of association.
That’s why all the newspapers and other media referred to RIP Rangers. The club was dead.
At this point Charles Green was holed up in a budget hotel under the Kingston Bridge receiving threats from Rangers supporters.
Title stripping was on the cards and he was happy to trade on past glories to secure a parachute into a higher division for his new club.
He didn’t have a grasp of what the liquidated club’s history meant to its followers. The threats put him right and being a Spiv he rather impressively it has to be said, turned their grief for their departed club, into a money making venture.
Then came the Five Way Agreement – where Scottish football conspired to bring the club back from the dead.
No titles were stripped and they were to be awarded the dead club’s history. Green was delighted. It saved him a fortune, it made him a fortune and it turned death threats into hero worship.
All he needed now was an orange top and a share issue.
Rangers would never have played in Europe that next season as they didn’t qualify due to their financial mess and even more so it’s resultant liquidation.
The previous club, of course, didn’t qualify the previous season ( see Resolution 12) but blagged their way in only to be fatally damaged by Malmo and a Maribor.
Those results ‘done for’ Craigy Whyte’s seat of his pants business plan.
So as the Scottish media welcomes them back, the new club perhaps should look over its shoulder to see the grim reaper from the past approach.
And thanks to the fundamentally dishonest Five Way Agreement their new legal entity status will be of little use in fending off the inevitable.

Griffiths seems to have hit a bit of a slump. Is the lack of competition for his place not helping?
I know he’s not exactly popular on here, but I can’t help but think Ciftci would have scored at least a couple of goals in the game time Richards has had.

When newco formed I couldn’t see any way they would last longer than 6-8 months and various commenters hinted at Chuckles exit plan and how much money they were losing per month etc. I was surprised Green was there long enough to deliver his Christmas message.
But here we are 4 years later and it no longer seems inevitable that they will perish, unless you have info to the contrary,

Sit and watched Lawell say they are doing things behind the scenes that are for the good of CFC. Complete lies from OUR CLUB. they sit and say nothing .. meantime the team is a disgrace.. No more players left to sell and our best 2 players are teenagers. One on loan. A manager who is clueless.

I have seen us lose to lower league sides too often not to recognise that as a possibility. Morton, Raith Rovers etc
A club would always be ‘back’ for their hordes to follow. No doubt we will lose to them at some point in the future if their finances allow them to survive. But even then their club is immune from financial ruin and will simply re-emerge.
In this light the result at Hampden isn’t relevant. We either defeat or are defeated by a new club being allowed to insult our intelligence by the corrupt pretence.
Personally I think the winning margin will be higher than the first meeting.
i feel a bit sorry for those defending celtic they just dont get it they have always supported old fim and always will

You know,I remember a time when it was great to support Celtic no matter what.I first started going with my father in 1960.We were dire,did not matter.Home and away every week on the Rosebud bus from Tradeston.We then had the Big Jock era,although fantastic,still had its heartbreaks.Did not matter.From the middle 70s post Kenny we were dire again,right through to the Centenary year,with an odd victory in a cup here and there.The Centenary Year,remember that?.One of the greatest seasons of my life,winning the Double.We were crap in Europe,but that did not matter,the Double was something special.In fact,up until the last couple of years,winning the League or Cup was regarded as special.Not now it seems.
MON era.Some great memories,and some terrible ones.Away record in Europe horrendous with a budget that RD can only dream about,and Henrik.Did not matter.
At times we played great,others crap,sometimes won,sometimes lost.Did not matter.
We had terrible referees against us,the SFA Masons against us,terrible boards,one who nearly took us to oblivion,but as long as we could see Celtic,it did not matter.
Fergus even installed terrible board members and CEOs on us,did we care ?.NO.
Now I read the whingeing spoilt brats on here posing as Celtic fans who have no clue at all what its like to go without winning anything.They sneer at the Cups,the Leagues as if they are nothing.I feel sorry for them.The joy,I and others of my generation got from Celtic will never visit their lives.
When we win this league,I could not give a toss how it was achieved,I will celebrate it like it was the first ever.The Double.Will be drunk for a week.
Defending Celtic? Support Celtic you mean,?celtic have nothing to defend, what charges do you have against CFC,? where is your proof?? What have they done wrong?
My friends in Celtic,
Predictable : The drama queens are on saying I will never, never, never, never ever go back to Parkhead. Ok we get it , the toys are lying at the prams wheels. Move on.
Meanwhile the rest of us realise that the forces of darkness are gathering triumphantly at the crumbling walls of Castle Grayskull.
We know we need improvement, however It is time for genuine Celtic supporters to support our team to a double.

I’ve said for years on here that, the ‘only’ way that Rangers FC would be killed would be, with the stake being hammered through the cheating-evil-monsters heart, by a Celtic hierarchy full of rebellious non-kowtowing, Celtic supporters.
That’s not the way that the club is structured – at present – so, the deid(LOL) huns are back as, the victims.
The only losers in all of this game of charades is – innocent, well meaning Celtic supporters who’s only crime is, they’re love for they’re club.
The evil entity that controls Celtic FC, don’t see the love, they’ve never felt it. They don’t know how much it hurts to know that, Celtic supporters weren’t paranoid for 125 years – they ‘were’ cheated!
And, in a role reversal…it’s the innocent, well meaning Celtic supporters who, after being cheated for all these years…will get the stake hammered through they’re hearts.
It’s FLUKIN scunnering.
If someone says they are not confident of the outcome of the semi final – that is not saying that they don’t hope we win it 8-0.
Anyone who expresses confidence in the current squad winning any fixture at the moment is ‘whistling in the dark’ – yes we desperately want to win EVERY game till the end of the season – we all wanted to win last night.
We are in for a nervous time over the next couple of months.
We have a bigger and, on paper, a better squad than any other club in Scotland – unfortunately we are not making those two enormous advantages count – this is a football department inadequacy – management and players.
The football department have been given the opportunities and finance to succeed this season – no question.
Like it or not, we have to sell to survive – any competition, like the SPFL Premiership, where the champions get ONE-FIFTIETH of what the BOTTOM club in the EPL is awarded, cannot support a club like Celtic, who aspire to be a player on the European stage – selling = survival.
