Dembele announced his arrival at Celtic with a hat trick in the first 5-1 Sevco game last September. Wouldn’t put it past him to leave us with a hat trick against the same opponents on Saturday.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Brendan leaves things open. Moussa wasn’t a definite to start against the Fake Club. Great for getting a hattrick price.
I reckon the Brilliant Moussa is Tchaicovski. And he will bring in a Multitude of Millions. Bitch slapped the Hun in the process.
It’s all about the sellon%. :)))
Wan Last Hattrick MOUSSSSSSAAAAAA.
Gerryfaethebrig,
Boydichenko outstripped the Sevco defence. :))))))))

celtic do own barrowfield both the old pitch behind the social club and the land further down towards the clyde. Could easily fit 4 full pitches there if wanted but not necessery.
Celtic tired to buy the alotments behind that area but council said no. Also prevous discussion about buying land where old belvadere hospital was situated but it was to expensive and land sold to developers.
All information accessible on internet, there were lots of complaints about value of land sold to celtic down that way, but typically it was all hun propaganda.
So no reason for celtic not to develop barrowfield training ground.
Ideal situation keep astrograss pitch and the pitch behind it. Build 1000 seater stand with much needed facilities beside there again on astrograss. In front of that have car parking space (600 spaces equivalent of 2 grass pitches) leading up to the social club and create new exit/ entrance.
£5 per match day car for 30 games a sessions = £90,000.00p per year. Ps parking is much needed and look like that need will grow when council put restructed parking in place.
brings women games (summer league) to barrowfield
Bring back development team/ reserves back into barrowfield.
Both will potentially reduced cost of hiring other grounds/ pitches, travelling etc… and will hopefully increase attendances and income due to central location.
Use barrowfield for majority of academy kids training and games, summer soccer schools etc…. and make sure its part of the visiter/ tourists experience just a hop, skip and jump from celtic park.
I dont think celtic are not investing as its clear as day they are, but clearly there is a real opportuniy to maximise the potential of barrowfield training ground moving forward. Problem is the finances outlay would have to be viewed as a long term one.

Doc,
I know, I don’t want to see him leave any time soon, and would prefer him to stay for a crack at the Europa League. Just got that feeling that he won’t be with us at the end of January.
Glass is half empty at the moment. :-(

Bateen Bhoy, I’ll keep mine half full for now, we won’t get less for him in the summer, so no reason to sell on now.

WITS – many thanks. Hope the horses are being kind – my luck is outrageously bad!
Happy St Stephens to you & yours!
Doc – PF told me that come the summer, Moussa would only have a year left on his contract. We might have to cash in now rather than wait until the summer. I had hoped that he would stay until the summer to get a full two years out of him, but who knows? Would rather he led the line against Zenit!!

The Celtic fans who today abused Neil McCann, are no better or worse than, Old Firm scumbags.
It wansn’t banter
It wasn’t football rivalry
It was, Old Firm scummery
Neil McCann, is no friend of Celtic.
But, today was scummery.
Just a few weeks after the bum chum street parties after the “Best Fans In The World” award, the Celtic Old Firm fans, showed their true colours.
Ye see, yeez can feed as many villages as yeez waant, but, when it comes doon tae it, the Celtic supporter base of 2017, are the other side of the Old Firm coin.
Every other set of supporters in Scotland can sing “Your Not Rainjurs Anymore” but, Celtic supporters canny make that claim, because, Celtic supporters paid £49 for Old Firm tickets that effectively rubber stamped the Sevco / Rainjurs same club lie.
That indelible stain will mark your souls till yeez die.
Who knows if the stain remains after ye die ?
Happy Christmas.
…..oot.
No commercial sense in selling MD in January, get him in the team last few months of the season, scoring goals and getting his stock higher again,we will get nearer what he is worth
Hunskelping order Griffinator followed by Mighty Moussa.

Howdy, stranger. Hope yer fine and dandy.
I’m pretty sure Moussa signed for four years. Hope so!

Thought Moussa was on a 4 yr deal ??
T4, I thought 2 more, could be wrong of course.
Enjoyed the list CowieBhoy, miss the ole CQN lists:-)
Bada Bing, my thoughts also, especially if we can get a Europa League run going.
Having said that I’d love to see him sign an extension.
TTT.
My understanding is that come the summer Mousse will still have 2 years to go on his contract.

In case you missed it, I gave you a Big shout out last night.

BMCUW – doing good mate. Sorry I missed the last Hootenanny, but I’m sure there will be others.
Wasn’t sure if MD signed for three or four years….if four, then he can lead us to EL glory before departing for £30M plus in the summer! ;-)
T4
Cowie/Doc/JNP – hope you’re right about the four year contract. Serves me right for listening to a lawyer!! :-)

Ps a freedom of information request was made by william ross to the city of glasgow council about amount paid for land within celtic triangle and land at westhorn recreational ground i.e. back of the origional barrowfield.
Response is glasgow city council sold land to celtic plc sold us land (needed for commonwealth games). Ps there was caviate that if we sold within 5 years of purchase council would take large % of any increase.
CELTIC OWN BARROWFIELD AND WESTHORN SO ANY DEVELOPMENT CAN BE DONE SO LONG AS PLANNNOMG CAN BE SOUGHT AND WOULD BE OWNED BY CELTIC

Leigh or Moussa to start in our last game of 2017 ????
There were more than a few of us amongst the away support mortified at the abuse Neil McCann took today. The Jimmy Bell song isn’t any better.
TOMMYTWISTSTOMMYTURNS
Oh,I suspect there might be. Btw,yer legal advice was free,so don’t complain!
ID BE MORE CONCERNED IF GRIFF WAS THEIR SIGHTS
Any abuse re McCann today not welcome. If McCann’s dad had any long standing connection to Dundee FC, i get the pre match tribute, if not, i don’t get it.
Bada
The minutes applause was announced within the stadium as for everyone who had passed away during the past year, then there was a wee mention for Eddie McCann.
Hello everyone and I hope you are all having a wonderful festive season. I got to my first away game this season today and totally enjoyed it. Great people great atmosphere great result. Never heard any abuse to Neill McCann but not saying it never happened. His old man flew the doos in the port and some top doo men down there told me his dad was Celtic daft. We were having a talk today about St. Stephen’s Day and old traditions etc but do any of you remember the Wren boys… we would have them pop into every local pub on Stephens day to play accordion and have a collection and a swift half. They used to dress up in costume… think worsel gummidge type images and you get it. Now this was 25 years ago so just wondering if they still go about or if anybody has any stories or memories about them.
ALMORE
I saw your post about coming over end of January. If you are deffo coming can you please bring me 3 calendars, if I am off we can meet up for a bite to eat and a pint and if you want to stop over for a night you have a room here ma chara.
To all cqners I wish you all the best of health, wealth and happiness for we are living through magical times…to all those who are suffering illness to themselves of family members you are in my thoughts and prayers. May god bless you all.
Jude 9.50pm
Hope you don’t mind me asking, how is young Josh getting on down in Brighton
On two occasions today in the Bob Shankly stand, the Neil McCann and Jimmy Bell song were sung by a moronic section of our away support. It was embarrassing.
The songs , like the previous Nacho Novo song, are pathetic. Why are we singing about people who do not matter to us?
This type of behaviour cannot be passed of as Hun type behaviour , it’s worse than that.
The reason that it is worse than that is because the Hun support have never embarrassed us, why do we do their job for them?
Took the gloss off a good day out for me to be honest.
T4
Who let you in ( with the duff advice)? :-)
Hope you and Mrs T4 had a great Christmas?

I disagree with most of your posts but I would buy you a pint for that post.
I am fed up with people who purport to support Celtic seeing our club as a vehicle for perpetuating hatred and bitterness, walking anuses who wish death on nonentities who organise the strips at Ibrox , lowers themselves against Linfield and the rest of the crap which wallows in the past.
I had to work today and then had news that our youngest family member had had to go into hospitai ( fortunately Luca is recovering) . We sat down to watch the match in the evening at the end of a traumatic today to cheer ourselves up. And listened to a couple of choruses of ‘Cheer up Neil McCann’ which redarkened our collective mood.
I love being a Celtic fan but there are now a lot of Celtic fans whose attitudes and songs I truly detest.
Oh and I would pick Moussa on Saturday but right now that does not seem important .
