This evening’s announcement by Dunfermline Athletic that they no longer expect to receive timely receipt of the £80,000 ticket money Rangers FC PLC (in administration) owe them will heighten concerns at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who have a stock at tickets with Rangers right now, money for which will be received by the administrators in advance of their game later this month.
The administrators have yet to decide whether to retain high-earning players or make more funds available for existing creditors, and future creditors, like Inverness. As ticket sales for the Inverness game are on-going, the administrators will need to be aware of their legal position before retaining a premium squad.
One final push (this week) for the Vanessa Riddle Appeal. We have a Celtic top signed by the first team squad available to auction on eBay. You can bid on the auction and help send Vanessa for the treatment she needs by clicking here. Thanks to Penfold for the donation and to Taggsybhoy for organising (yet again).

Read Scotland in Eclipse by Andrew Dewar Gibb.
Raman from STV on Twitter:
Rangers story to be ‘flooded with fresh developments’ over next 10 days. Administrators meeting players tomorrow.
Ernie Lynch/Kano 1000: Cheers guys.
Kevtic, great idea about donating to SCIAF!

Sorry but I’ve waited many years to enjoy what will happen on March 25th mate.
Is it just me or is Vladimir Romanov more of a ‘fit and proper’ person to run a football club than Craig Whyte?
brucecassavetes
What evidence is there against Vlad not to be fit and proper to run a club ?
Seems to me he is fitter than the likes of minty, who will in the coming weeks to be proved a tax fraudster.
A pox on them.
Glasgow’s green and white
to the guys advocating (see what i did there)
as the real little general said (not the advocatt one , the french one).
a bhoycott of ibrox on the 25th.
DONT INTERUPT YOUR ENEMY WHILE THEY ARE MAKING A MISTAKE.
and most certainly dont give them one thin dime to continue their very existance.
==========================================
this game, this one game, is the strategic/tactical line up of the planets that we just cant ignore.
if ever there was the chance to say GIRUY it this game.
THE HOSEPIPE GAME.
the day the celtic support demonstrates WE DONT NEED YOU, by not turning up.
7,000 at £40 = £280k.
enough to keep them going for another week/
PLEASE DONT GO.
The bigger joy, the greater effect , is knowing you brought them a day closer to extinction.
A commerical opportunity for ice cream and jelly at a beam back at CP.
makes much more sense to me.
Let them know , we dont care about them by not going.
Our team will win anyway.
when we were banned our team didnt let us down.
Come on bhoys.

Indeed – Romanov has met every deadline (eventually) set by HMRC/SFA/whoever.
The press were practically salivating at the SPL taking them to task – too busy watching the crap fireworks in Edinburgh whilst ignoring the asteroid heading towards Govan.

but there jelly and ice cream at celtic park , come on over, dont give them huns your money, save it for our championship party.
This time next year, our Craig will be lying on a yacht in Monaco, covered in factor 30 laughing like Mutley

I understand you have waited all these years for the oportunity, but alas, I don’t think it will happen.
I will wager you now that they will be gone by then, apparantly it costs them 250k to police the game, it aint gonna happen mi amigo, next week will see them blended, once the admin men have their wages the plug will be pulled.
I had intended to go to the game on the 28th, for reasons, and flights couldn’t manage, I now regret that I didn’t try harder to make it happen, but at least you were at the last proper derby game, and Joe was the last proper hunskelper, enjoy the memory hermano.
She is calling……..

I’m sorry mate but we will never, ever have an opportunity like the one on March 25th to humiliate them both on and off the park.
I do get what you’re saying but £280k is buttons in comparison to the amounts that they require. Sure, don’t buy pies, bovrils, programmes etc ( I never have done in any case) but this is our moment and its one not to be missed.
Night Timland
Decision will be taken out of supporters hands re. HUNS game on 25th. They WILL NOT EXIST in in state that will allow them to fulfill that fixture.
BE GONE HUNS. BE GONE.

Take care mate, going to Ibrox at the best of times is dangerous but you will be doubly vulnerable in this fixture… Particularly as the ‘ lone Celtic Supporter’
:-) !!!

yer missing the point bud.
£280k keeps them going another week.
No tims there , empty seats, and no one for them to sing at, gives a bigger, starker, tactical, image than us turnng up (as expected) and celebrating.
leave them to it.
imagine the proper worlds sports media reporting
“this match was so unimportant to the Celtic fans, that they didnt bother turning up.”
anyway.
keep it lit.
t a l.
going by previous corrospondence we might have MWD asleep in a railway depot in carluke.
man down.

whats it got to do with the polis ?
any anyways, would a paid gig at parkhead not be preferable to a riot at ibrox ?
We dont care what the animals say
what the hell do we care
for we only know
that theres going to be a show
and the Glasgow Celtic will be there
the best argument against them

lets just go for nexts year champions league final.
Kitalba.
if your back on tonight.
left you a message about 10am my time this mornings blog.
mightly impressed with your dumbarton connection, see if you can find it.
i am too, eh, emotional to look back now.
off to bed.
I firmly believe we should not attend the iPox match in March- let us celebrate their demise ar every Celtic game- generate income to promote Celtic don’t drop thousands into the Govan Poor Box.
As I proposed last night- wherever you watch the game stick £10 or more into a good cause – perhaps for Vanessa- its a win win – Rankers get zip, causes get funds and the world watches their humiliation.
Btw- my late and much loved Uncle, who took me to see the Bhoys when I was wee- would never go to IPox as he would not give them a penny- he knew the score!

The SNP are not the cause of sectarianism in Scotland but they have all too often been fellow travellers.
WW – leader 69 to 79 – had some exotic views regarding the Church of Rome.
SNP had another related meaning in the go-go 70’s – ‘Sorry No Papes’.
These two things may in fact be related.
AS did nothing to continue JMcC’s anti sectarian agenda until shamed into it 4 years later.
What they produced was a serious piece of ‘evening up legislation’ nothing at all to do with sorting out the issue.
They are in the main Tartan Tories with all the baggage that this implies.
Small town, small minded, small world – CoS / Burns suppers / Tartan rugs.
CG gets a gig as an MSP – She is still in a job – Either she is Wee Eck’s real voice or she is getting a bad length from him.
Hopefully the Employment Tribunal will sort a lot of this out.
JS gets engaged and books a chapel for the wedding to keep in with his future wife.
JS gets brifed against and then gets his jotters as leader – coincidence – interesting.
Consequently I can’t fully make up my mind.
Too interested in the majority or sectarian – not sure.
Only thing I would say is that they are worth a watching.
Vlad is made out as mad simply because he questions rangers getting preferential treatment from the leading bodies because if their establishment status!!
He makes too much noise…
A very very poor mans fergus
you ever get the feeling your talking to yourself ?
and maybe there is is a

somewhere above your heid ?
naw, ?
ok.
remember
THE HOSEPIPE GAME
the final play book.
just signed petition shimmies33
But Hector the Admin guys said “ranger fc will continue as a football”.
But then again he didn’t state for how long… maybe until Sat. 4.45!
I would like to think you are right and there’ll be no rangers come 25 March but I imagine they’ll make it till then and one reason will be that Celtic will be asked very soon to pay up £300k to the beggers.
And after the 25th March there will be many Peters in G&W (great timimg) getting asked “you were there you helped save them?”

Remember THIS IS A NATIONAL SCANDAL, THIS IS CRIMINAL.
THINK OF YOUR COUNTRY VOTE FOR INDEPENDENCE !
DOESNT MEAN SNP WOULD BE IN POWER IF YOU VOTED FOR ANOTHER PARTY WHEN INDEPENDENCE WAS GRANTED TO US BY OUR ENGLISH MASTERS
I expect Vlad will enjoy sticking it to the sfa and spl when the time comes to vote on the newco admission to the spl :o)
The city of Tegucigalpa in Honduras where the tragic prison fire happened is Emilio’s home city.

@celticrumours Mail and others say administrators will ask each player in the morning if they are willing to play for free. If not they go.

You may be a relatively new blogger but thou speaketh sense.
It no longer MATTERS what these windbags (ex-huns, corpulent fans, weasly politicians, sycophantic hacks) say any more. The politicians are just being politicians, trying to sound concerned, but really just trying to score points off the other party by making them seem unconcerned. It’s just politics. It’s a dirty game. It’s pissing in the wind.
The truth is that it’s too late for words now.
There are sums owed here that are truly eyewatering. The government won’t bail them out, not one thin dime – a company guilty of the biggest tax heist in British football history -forgetaboutit. They are heading to the wall (or years of admin/penury, either way I’m happy) and they are starting to realise it. One day soon they are gonna wake up and rangers fc 1972 -2012 is gone baby, gone.
Prediciton – There is going to be an unprecedented tidal wave of pish spoken in the coming weeks. Ignore it. These people should have spoken up years ago, when their analysis might have made a difference. The hun fans will latch onto the vaguest rumour, quick to follow the latest alleged saviour put forward by snyde and STV. Who cares? Let them kid themselves on, let them feel the false temporary euphoria followed by crashing comedown after crashing comedown. And if they eventually get a newco off the ground it will be hamstrung by many things, not least by the fact that in terms of league titles it will be Celtic FC 1888 43, Govan Blues 0.
That little stat will be enough to keep plenty of their famously disloyal fans from ever returning.
Keep the faith.
