With an eye on the Champions League game tomorrow night, Brendan Rodgers chose to mix it up against Livingston on Saturday. The risk paid off with Benjamin Nygren lifting the champions to a comfortable 3-0 win. An added benefit was the gametime given to those who needed it, while we got a good look at Hayato Inamura and Shin Yamada.
Nygren has now played three league games for Celtic, scored three goals, hit the crossbar and has one assist to his name. You also get the feeling that he is only just beginning to get a feel for his teammates. When his passes do not reach their desired destination, it is because he expected a run which did not happen.
Arne Engels’ motivation is clear to see. The Belgium international was first choice last season, but has been left on the bench for key games this term. His response against Livi was as good as the manager would have hoped for.
Elsewhere the big result was Tony Bloom-inspired Hearts dropping two points at home to Motherwell. That allowed Celtic to open up a 2 point gap at the top of the table. Early days but you would rather be 2 points ahead than behind.

Ten men won the league
Always love that moniker. Mine relates to the beginning of same season when the team was no it’s knees.

Yes, my best day as a Celtic supporter. Taken in the car with my Dad & Uncle as i wasn’t allowed to go on my own. Was then allowed to attend the 80 Cup Final with my pals a year later, interesting day lol.

I had been on Holiday in London for 11 days. Due to Scottish cup final replays (Rangers v Hibs went to 2 replays), the date of the match kept being put back and meant I would be able to make it. I was just 15 at the time. I met my parents at Buchanan St Bus station, gave them my bags, grabbed some fish and chips with them and then went to straight to Celtic Park……….
I’m not sure but I think that’s my best Celtic moment. It is close with the Cup Final of the Centenary year, Brattbak stopping the 10 and the 6-2 game. There have been many other truly memorable games, but those are my top ones.

Yes, I agree with the thrust of these two posts and the many more on similar track you’ve dropped across the Celtic internet.
Bear in mind, there are individuals who comprehend Annual Reports (the foundation of your idea about corporate structure, business performance and indeed realities of operations). Your inaccurate and misleading posts don’t help anyone.
Take a step back and become comfortable with the difference between CPOs and CCPs.

do point out to me when my posts are inaccurate or misleading, and in what context the differences for a CPO and CCP ?

The is our CL final. Positive minds required. Just win it boys.
Reading back I note a few mentions of raskin , he is a brave wee devil right enough , and he will be up to his loutish behaviour on Sunday of that there will be no doubt , as the ref will look the other way , and secondly we have no one to scare the crap out of him . In all my years following the hoops we nearly always had a tough nut . But we haven’t replaced Broonie , he would have sorted him .
I’ve just seen a Tim in wetherspoons – got to be a good omen .
