NOTTINGHAM FOREST are poised to make a second bid for in-demand Celtic midfielder Arne Engels.
The City Ground club saw a £25million offer rejected by the champions in January.
But they are about to test the Hoops’ resolve with another move for the Belgian international who is at the centre of transfer tug-of-war, according to Sky Sports.
As well as Forest, two other Premier League outfits – Fulham and Sunderland – are also interested in the smooth operator who cost the double winners a club record £11million when he signed from Augsburg on August 2024 deadline day.

Serie A teams AC Milan, Lazio and Roma are also monitoring the 22-year-old playmaker’s situation, as CQN reported last week.
Engels missed seven consecutive games with a thigh injury after the turn of the year, but came back strongly to play his part in the team’s remarkable league and Cup double success.
He netted a crucial penalty-kick in the 3-1 title-deciding victory over Hearts at Parkhead and, a week later, thumped in the second goal in Martin O’Neill’s side’s 3-1 Scottish Cup Final triumph over Neil Lennon’s Dunfermline at Hampden.
It is increasingly looking like that strike may be the player’s parting shot for the Hoops.
Engels has made 98 appearances for Scotland’s title kings, scoring 17 goals and providing 21 assists.
He still has two years to run on his contract and Celtic will be looking to at least double their initial outlay if anyone wants to prise him away from Parkhead.
