EURO GREEN LIGHT FOR HOOPS FOUR

0

CELTIC quartet Callum McGregor, Anthony Ralston, Greg Taylor and James Forrest have all been named in Scotland’s Euro 2024 provisional squad for Germany next month.

Steve Clarke brought the guessing game to a halt this morning when he announced a 28-man party which will be trimmed to 26 on June 7, the day the Scots play their final warm-up match against Finland at Hampden.

It’s a welcome return to the international scene for evergreen Forrest who has not featured at this level since 2021.

However, his resurgent form at the campions – with five goals in eight games – has put him with a great chance of playing in the extravaganza at the age of 32.

The Scots will kick off the tournament against the hosts at Bayern Munoch’s Allianz Arena on Friday June 14.

They will also face Switzerland and Hungary in Group A.
