CELTIC’S Europa League Group B rivals RB Leipzig also went on the goal rampage at the weekend and hit their 10-man opponents for six.

The German outfit thumped Nurnberg 6-0 to move into second place in the Bundesliga with goals from Marcel Sabitzer (2), Timo Werner (2), Kevin Kampl and Yussuf Poulsen.

Leipzig were four goals ahead at the interval and the visitors had Tim Leibold red-carded in the 62nd minute.

However, Nurnberg can actually say they are IMPROVING – they were thrashed 7-0 by Borussia Dortmund in their last away league game.

Brendan Rodgers will take the Hoops to Germany on Thursday, October 25 for their third group game, having beaten Rosenborg 1-0 and lost 3-1 to RB Salzburg.

RB Leipzig are due in Glasgow on November 8.
