Do we really think the whole squad should be practising penalties so we can win a shoot out in a meaningless friendly in Australia?

Its not heresy to say we’ve got two strikers who are too good for the SPL and not good enough for the CL. They’re both too old to get much better and those sort of instincts don’t generally improve with age anyway.
We have two windows to get one before next season’s Champions league, so we have time but we can’t afford the two we’ve got already and one better for one position so we’ll have to do some trading. They both seem equally effective at the moment so it might come down to who will go or who we get a bigger offer for.
Pay a decent fee for a young, raw sniper. We’ll still have the safety blanket of someone who’ll score goals in the SPL if it goes wrong

Its a gamble, but the alternative is stagnation
We have a Premier League standard coach, we need to do whatever it takes to give him the players to do the hob how he wants to
Really pissed off at masel, said to the Mrs earlier that Ecuador at 11/8 was free money, so this ejit stuck a bet on 3-1 to Ecuador, numpty.

A game we could have and should have won in the second half. Certainly no lack of effort. Everton provided the negative. Keep playing like that in the EPL and they are heading for the Championship, a league they only narrowly avoided last season. Make Davie Moyes team look like Brazil. Miles behind their city rivals, they wont need that new stadium playing like that. Our strikers Gmak and Kyogo getting a lot of flak on here, but it was Abada, and Turnbull, with his twenty yard pass direct to the goalkeeper in the second half who really should have scored. Do not seem to have anyone coming through who can help us up front so wonder if we should go for Laurence Shankland, now at Hearts, and see if he could benefit from the number of chances we actually do create. And not just chances, but what the French call ‘occasions’ and what I call goal scoring positions.

Maybe you should gen up on Euro Football rules before commenting. And while you are doing that try also to come up with a suggestion as to who we might sign who could help the players we do have playing for us. You know the ones that Ange actually did sign. Take your time, next transfer window doesn’t open till January.

Qatar would need 4 or 5 Red Cards to the opposition to make them competitive. They are pish and would drive you to drink.
Looks like a full house for the Quatar v Ecuador game .
