FORMER Celtic star Mark Wilson is plotting a double raid on his old club for Hoops kids Josh Clarke and Kyle Ure.

The Partick Thistle boss is keen to take the highly-rated youngsters on loan across Glasgow to Firhill to boost his playing squad as he attempts to steer the club towards promotion from the Championship, according to a report in the Daily Record.

Wilson, who was appointed manager of the Mayhill outfit at the end of the season, was impressed by 20-year-old keeper Clarke who had a spell at Scott Brown’s Ayr United last term.

Celtic B team midfielder Ure is also on the rookie gaffer’s wanted list as he hopes to persuade Brendan Rodgers to allow the Hoops duo to move on season-long temporary moves.

The 19-year-old prospect has been involved in the champions’ pre-season preparations and featured in the 2-0 win over Sporting Lisbon in the Algarve last week. He was an unused substitute in the 4-0 romp against Newcastle United in Glasgow on Saturday.

Wilson has already added former Celtic Champions League goal hero Tony Watt to his squad.
