ONE-TIME Celtic wonderbhoy Karamoko Dembele is poised for a £2.5million move to Queens Park Rangers.
The Hoops will miss out on a percentage of the sell-on after the winger quit Parkhead at the end of his contract.
As a free agent, Dembele signed a four-year deal at French Ligue 1 side Brest in July 2022, but spent last season on loan at English third-tier outfit Blackpool and earned some rave reviews.
Chris Davies, the former right-hand man of Brendan Rodgers at Celtic, will be disappointed at reports linking the 21-year-old forward with the London side.
ON THE BALL…Karamoko Dembele in one of his rare Celtic first-team outings.
He had hoped to lure Dembele to Birmingham City for the new season, but it appears his hopes have been dashed, according to the local media.
Derby County, too, were showing an interest in Dembele who left the Hoops after just one goal in four Premiership appearances. He claimed Ange Postecoglou did not like his style of playing.
He is now on his way out at Brest with Loftus Road his likely destination. Medical tests are said to be scheduled for this weekend.
Dembele, who has represented Scotland and England at youth level, scored nine goals last season at Blackpool to catch the eye of QPR among others.
