CALLUM McGREGOR is aiming to make sure the feelgood factor continues at Celtic.
The skipper reflected on an emphatic 4-0 win over Dundee United at Parkhead yesterday – and looked ahead to the match at Falkirk in midweek.
Following six defeats in eight games during Wilfried Nancy’s disastrous 33 days in charge, McGregor welcomed back Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney as they stepped up for a second time in a topsy-turvy campaign.
The double-act first answered an SOS from the club following the rapid departure from Brendan Rodgers in late October.

A WELCOME SIGHT…Martin O’Neill in the Celtic dug-out alongside Shaun Maloney and Gavin Strachan.
They guided the Hoops to seven victories in eight games before stepping down to make way for Nancy, but they were back in the dug-out yesterday as the team attempted to get back on track after consecutive defeats from Motherwell and Danny Rohl’s Ibrox outfit.
But it was business as usual against Jim Goodwin’s Tayside outfit who beat Celtic for the first time in 11 years at Tannadice last month, Nancy’s fourth reverse in a row.
There was no chance of a repeat in Glasgow with Yang Hyun-jun and Arne Engels scoring in a one-sided first-half and substitute Benjamin Nygren and Daizen Maeda adding the others after the turnaround.
A beaming McGregor said: “That was exactly what we wanted. That’s a Celtic team in terms of the way they play.
“Pressing, intensity, quick football, aggressive, scoring goals, clean sheets.
“A really good afternoon. Now we recover and go again.
“We just sort of picked up where we left off. You know, the six weeks they [O’Neill and Maloney] were in were incredible.
“The team had a real bounce, playing with confidence and clarity. It looked like we just picked up where we left off.”
McGregor, speaking to Celtic TV, added: “The football was excellent, the counter-pressing was superb, the game was almost played in half a pitch.
“That’s the sort of dominance that we want.
“And now, like I say, we’ve just got to repeat that between now and the end of the season.”
FOUR HE’S A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW- WELCOME BACK, MARTIN!
