All of that exhilarating football from Tuesday lands on the hard plastic surface of Rugby Park on Sunday, as Celtic return to the ground which last year cost Brendan Rodgers his 100% trophy record in Scotland, then resulted in an even worse performance and defeat in the league.
This will be Kilmarnock’s first home game since their hilarious win over Newco. Their three games on the road since then resulted in a win at Tynecastle, and defeats to Ross County and Dundee.
They have not lost at home since August, when St Johnstone thumped them 0-3 as Derek McInnes rested several players before their Conference League trip to Norway. That record will be tested by the flowing fabulousness of the champions.
For Brendan, this will be a rare occasion when he has a full squad to choose from and no game to worry about for two weeks. He may choose to leave Cameron Carter-Vickers’ knees on the bench, but otherwise, I expect a full strength team to start, and get the game won early on.

I’m sure Ipox will hold the world record for decibels.
They do say that empty vessels make the most noise and there are a lot of empty vessels there. :)

The Aberdeen goalkeeper Mitov has also been a very impressive performer.
After watching Sportscene like I do each week him and Simon Murray are the only two players that have stuck out for me in our league from other sides.
Parishioners being blocked by police, trying to attend St Alphonses in the Calton, this is Scotland in 2024
I honestly never knew the game was on sky until yesterday possibly because it is a 3pm KO
Then when I realised it was remembrance Sunday today I thought of course its on sky …they couldn’t possibly miss an opportunity to show our fans in the worst possible light …even 3pm to let them get more fuelled up!!!

Watched the game in my local. Dozen or so Citeh fans there and they weren’t best pleased when I shrieked when MoR hit the net. Lovely.

Nice one Aipple.
Cracking finish it was too.
Just watched the highlights.
For those of you that can’t stand watching MOTD, listening to Gary Lineker going on &/or don’t have Sky, you can get a 3 minute highlight clip of each of the EPL games on the Sky Sports YouTube channel.
These are usually available about an hour after the game has finished.
Just type Sky Sports Football into YouTube and Robert’s your father’s brother.
😃👍
If it is this needs to be broadcast and raised at the Highest levels of Government, by the Archdiocese of Glasgow.
Dessybhoy- yes,got absolutely nothing to do with Remembrance Day, it wouldn’t be allowed at a Mosque or a Synagogue
VTD – Yip.
Sly Sports can facilitate and they can amplify.
But a section of our support will or will not provide the key ingredient.
Two kinds of Celtic fan keep quiet during a minute’s silence.
Those paying genuine respect.
Those playing it smart.

why were the ruc part of the cenotaph parade? they didnt exist until 4 years after the first world war finished?
It’s no longer about the First and Second World Wars but includes all conflicts since.
Back to basics …100%…12ko might have been a wee chance..3pm ..not a chance…unfortunately
Good afternoon all from the Vicky Bar. Taken my seat in the directors box to watch the wonderful Glasgow Celtic. It’s a beautiful Sunday.👍
Celtic passing game much more difficult on an artificial surface, especially one like the doomed notorious leveller at Kilmarnock. Good chance one or two Celts will be mothballed, with the dreaded international break, next up.
CCV and Nicolas Kuhn have able deputies in the deepest of Celtic squads and the more physical Adam Idah could start, where he excelled last season. Any three points will do 👍
Bada bing at 12:00.
Thank you for posting the link.
“Balaclava clad protestors” are they?
I’ll likely reflect on their behaviour in more depth later but my instinctive reaction?
Good for them.
Sometimes calm, piety, humility and smarts are the appropriate response.
Sometimes though intimidation just needs flat met with intimidation.
Every bully is a coward at heart .. and all that

I don`t have any records, but I feel that many teams drop points in the first after playing a European mid-week game.
The fact that ours was a Home game helps, as does Hearts`, but then again, both us and the Jambos are away today. Hmm…

Yes you’re correct – I don’t have any stats either – however given the fact that the Leipzig game was on Tuesday and this is now Sunday, surely no fatigue hangover.
Leipzig was a massive effort illustrated by the concerted pressing that led to our second goal right on half-time. Similar application should see us through comfortably today. HH
live on sky so that they can set up celtic fans on remembrance sunday.
dearie me, do you really believe that.

I sincerely hope that we start with our strongest eleven. I don’t see any need to protect certain players. Yes the surface is different but we have won many times before on it. I honestly can’t see the manager leaving out important players – if he did and we dropped points he would be held personally responsible – and rightly so. HH

Bada reporting to be expected from the newspaper who print stories stolen from the phones of murder victims.
Today is a victory
A victory for those who want to profess their faith in peace, and it shone a light on the orange prders rancid need to denegrate another faith.
They came down the road and 3 polis minibuses parked length wise across the set of lights above St Alphonsus, the riot act was read as they were diverted(right) down to gallowgate, this was a good 35 mins before the remembrance at George Square started, they had ample time to make their destination and honour the fallen of all wars.
However, they pacman last square(drumcree style) kept walking into polis vans. They done this solidly til after 11,IT WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO WALK TRIUMPHANTLY PASSED A CATHOLIC CHURCH THAN IT WAS TO REMEMBER THE DEAD,dead who by their own faith,a fair constituent part were Catholic,a total abhorrance to the memory of all the dead.Grade A hypocrites a light really needs to be shone on this behaviour,I urge you all to contact councillors, maps, maps to end this fascism.
We heard the route back March was rerouted past St.Marys,so both marches were rerouted,Glasgow City Council have to look at themselves and a light shone on them by Judge Reid in 2019.it has no place in 21st century Glasgow
