fortunate tonight but rangers and hearts are way ahead in terms of quality and momentum – MON and staff have done their job. NOW it’s time for the board to push the boat out and get us 3-4 players!! in the next week – to give us a chance. Or at least give maeda and McGowan a left and a right boot – surely we can ask a sponsor to cover the cost!
Watching that team I felt the slightest shiver of sympathy for Nancy for the first time. He just made a bad situation worse.

I cannot thank you enough for the last 20 years and what you’ve given me and my son, priceless days at CP!
The on-pitch challenge in the SPFL is evolving quickly. The season after next Rangers (whatever we choose to call them) will have a first 11 which is slightly better than everybody else in the spfl and Tony Bloom will add to the league leaders’ squad to ensure they can take points off everybody throughout a season over the next couple of seasons.
Given we survived the greatest cheat in sporting history, I am confident we can adapt to this enormous change if we recognise it for what it is!

The players have had 4 different managers. MON twice and each wanted to play different system. I think they deserve credit for changing the way they play.. It wasn’t fluid and some players will be leaving or want to leave
BUT the players need to be given credit with all these minuses to win 3 points tonight,
So much focus on Directors, Managers etc all in the face of a hostile media.

It is so sad to watch our beloved team being outplayed by Falkirk.
This is a shadow of Celtic teams even in very recent history – it is a tragedy to watch our slow collapse while those responsible seem to neither care nor have the knowledge to do anything about it.
McPhail Bhoy on
Good 3 points, but we are weak as a team and have players while playing with a little bit more confidence after the Nancy debacle are still very fragile.
Agree with comments regarding McCowan he has regressed as a player, did his best to hand Falkirk attacking options, shocking passing. Maeda? Poor as well.
Anyway onwards and upwards, hail, hail!

MON just said there Board are very helpful – he’s the reason of the delay as he needs time to evaluate players . Also , said even if we sign players tomorrow , they are cup tied for weekend and midweek euro game. MON knows all about speed and physicality – I trust he has been scoring players off Tisdale list and finding talent that can give us the power we need.
PS – R2ngers do NOT scare the living daylights out of me.

In MON’s post match interview, I felt he was saying that cos we have a ‘wee cup game (my words)’ coming up followed by a Euro tie where a new player/players may not be able to play anyway, we may be waiting for the right ghuys.
If so, we got to the Euro game hoping Kels pulls thru a warm-up 45 v Auchinleck before leading the line in Europe.
PS; seems significant CalMac did no interviews with Nancy at the helm and now has done two interviews since the Frenchman departed.

3 points, a win but my god a hard watch.
Some suicidal defending, trying to play intricate football under pressure at the edge of the penalty box. KS bailed out our centre backs on a few occasions. Our midfield seemed determined to get in on the act on more than a few occasions.
I thought Maeda was awful tonight – a man down in effect though to be fair he did track back on a couple of occasions and make effective challenges. Tounekti reverted to the less effective winger that we’ve seen before, perhaps because his first attempt to go past the defender was easily stopped.
CMcG was totally ineffective as a defensive midfielder though he circulated the ball quite well when the opportunity presented itself. Overall the team looked weak defensively and a more effective opposition would have scored more than one goal. KS deserves a lot of credit keeping the clean sheet.
Kenny came on late in the game but showed little energy pressing the Falkirk defence. Very disappointing.
Araujo looks composed and switched on as a right full/wing back. I like him.
McCowan was poor.
Nygren made his goal scoring contribution, worked hard for 95 minutes. Deserving of his MOM award.
Yang, Engels and Kierney get pass marks in a poorly performing team.
Time for fresh blood

We need four 1st team players, now.
If anyone but MON was manager tonight we would have lost.
Maeda, McCowan, Nygren (apart from the goal), Trusty (unusually) all poor tonight. Tounetki, stopped by a good fullback.
Still, a bad win is better than a good draw.
Give McGregor a rest for the cup game.

it sure is, but …………..
i have started to think the same for the purple huns.
lose a keeper and a player last two games and still won the fixtures.
God we are so so slow as a football team….real lack of pace and absolutely no physicality in front 6 ….need about 6 players
