It was a fantastic result from Celtic Park last night for Scotland’s poor who are dependent on food aid. Fans arrived in droves before kick off with bags full of provisions to restock food banks across the region.
I can sympathise with the SPFL to an extent. Without a sponsor, they are even more dependent on satisfying television, and satisfying television often involves making unpopular decisions, but the mess they’ve made of scheduling the final Championship fixtures of the season is deeply embarrassing for our game.
Our game is looking more and more like it’s being run like a Banana Republic. Generalissimo Doncaster has a case to answer.
I’m pretty sure no one at Celtic considered Leigh Griffiths as their number one striker when he signed a year ago. That he has become so, is as much a result of his forward competition failing to deliver as much as his own talents, but there’s no denying Leigh’s ability. He’s turned into a vibrant, productive striker who scores all types of goals.

Yes, very strange. I can see no reason why the club would want our games played in such a tight schedule unless they were told to. Playing these games on a Champions League night results in the loss of TV income/exposure.

Doncaster on Shortbread this morning was an embarrassment. I can only think Ogilvie is working this dummy from the back. He failed to answer the main point of why the diets v full fat fixture was moved to suit TV in the first place, while in full knowledge of the ‘breach of sporting integrity’ and the storm that would probably follow. The guy can talk for Scotland, or is that England? but like all good politicians, usually dodges the issue. An absolute imposter who should be made to walk.

When sex crime is reported it creates fear, sometimes that fear is unfounded.!
The fear of reporting sex crime is genuine, that is something for that person to deal with if and when they feel strong enough to do so, hopefully it is always treated with tact and genuine concern.

We have had the chance on a few occasions of causing them extreme embarrassment. I may be out of line here, as I stopped attending football, after following the hoops for over 50 years, due entirely to the corruption within Scottish football, and due to that corruption being aimed solely at celtic fc. But I felt the celtic support could some way have made the. Football public aware what was happening.up here, the lengths the Scottish football authority was going to propping up a rank rotten, cheating, tax avoiding. Club to the detriment of all other clubs. We have various fan groups, we have the guys responsible for the wonderful barcalona display, anyone who can come up with that, can surely organise and motivate the celtic fans who are sick scunnered . With there club being used and abused by this useless administration. To Embarrass these clowns to the extent that questions are asked outside these shores, is surely worth trying. no doubt you will think I have a cheek, me no longer being involved, you can take the bhoy out of celtic. But you can’t take celtic out the bhoy.

The guy who was jailed for 4 months had a catalogue of previous convictions and more pertinently, was serving probation. If you are serving probation and are found guilty of any crime, you go to jail.
He wasn’t just thrown in jail for singing a song, just as Duncan Ferguson was not jailed simply for head butting a player.

The thing about the law in Scotland is that there is no real consistency of sentence once somone has been found guilty. It can depend on where your case has been heard and who the judge is and the sentence can vary. H.H.

I don’t understand the passivity of our match going support.
Either due to their continued support of SFA sponsored competitions or failure of the various organised groups to engage with fans of other clubs.
I guess the siege mentality and victim hood trumps the fabled rebelliousness and a love of Celtic doesn’t include a love of the Game.

Police Scotland confirm the remains found are that of Karen Buckley.I can only offer my condolences to the Buckley family who have had their lives destroyed.
