I was just stirring trying to draw out one of those “fans” that only comes on here to bump his gums (and ego) about how his negative criticisms are all so constructive sitting from the vantage point of his armchair. Nae takers :-)
I think up till Gordon’s howler we were matching up decently against this very expensively assembled team.

Sutton was starting to really clutch at straws to find reasons to slag celtic off as they approached half time at 0-0. Struggled to give credit to Gordon for the early save

Gordon has been a problem in Europe since the Inter howlers. Not sure if dropping him was the solution but the chance is gone now. Now we are out, no reason why we can’t have Bailly as the Cup keeper.
Overall, really enjoyed the perf apart from that. Fast passing and some grit.

Bad goal to give away, thought Gordon was scared in case he brought the attacker down and took his eye off the ball.

Would like to have seen a replay of the Ciftci chance where it looked like he took far too long to shoot when clean through.

I thought we were doing okay caught a few times in possession as we try to look for a player to pass to, Ciftci was clean through slowed and the guy got back , their goal was a disaster Ciftci losing the ball at the edge of their box one pass guy running away from Johansen, Gordon I dont want to consider didn’t try at best he chickened out of the challenge the guys shot beat three trying to get back
