  1. Great win last night . Bhoys played reasonably well , I say that as we are still careless with some of our play . We lost two stupid avoidable goals with slack play , to much playing around when at times a boot up the park is required and allows us to take the pressure off . Delighted to see a bit of battling in midfield from McGregor and turnbull after my comments with there lack of fight . I may get shot down here but I would like to see ralston having a wee shot in midfield ,I feel it’s an ideal spot for him and just what we need in midfield . Great goals from the bhoys ,well worked . A few wee things still needed like having a go from outside the box and a whole lot of improvement needed on cross balls . But hopefully that will come . HH

  2. What a night. Really enjoyable game with the right ending.

The pub was rocking. European football takes our excitement and enjoyment to a level that the league cannot manage. ( 90% of games )

European football is soooooooo important for us.

    HH.

  3. Just been researching SPFL rules on administration.

In Scotland, administration means a 15-point deduction. A club in administration cannot buy new players and are not allowed to play in Europe.

If a club goes into administration in the close season, they start the following season with a 15-point deduction or a third of their previous season’s points total, whichever is greater.

If they do go belly up, it is likely to be after the end of this season where they fail to win the league and lose out on CL millions.

That would result in a deduction in the region of 25 to 30 points at the start of next season.

So bottom line is, Celtic win the league and the huns are well and truly fecked.

Before you jump on your high horse, I am not saying administration is inevitable. My main point is, IF it happens, it will happen after end of season but only IF they don’t win the league.

    That’s two IFs.

  4. Does the SFA not care about the impact on the integrity of the game here that they are willing to allow a member club to run on exhaust fumes while the rest of the members try to live within their limited means, it is a total farce, por cierto

  5. Morning CQN, I lost my dad in August this year and whilst clearing up his documents I found his Celtic share certificate. So I have two questions:

Firstly how do I go about transferring ownership?

Secondly is it too late to pass the proxy on?

    Thanks.

  6. £23 5 loss takes the accumulated losses way past the £100m mark, and a further £7.5m needed to be magically summoned-up by the end of this season….but it’s OK, Park & Bennett will guarantee, or, pump more in, as required.

I think Murray’s season on season losses were in the region of £80m when Lloyds pulled the plug and precipitated the £1 sale

So in essence when you have these two ‘sugar daddies’ normal financial rules don’t really apply….the Ibrox conundrum rolls on.

  7. The scale of Sevco’s financial losses – and so what is at stake in this year’s title – are eye-watering. Any Scottish referee can only read them as a three-line whip.

Of course they care , with the very notable exception of one particular club .
