There’s going to be a Festival atmosphere as Celtic make their home in Edinburgh for the first time tonight. With the away win already secured, and the opposition little more than tourists, we’ll see little of what Ronny Deila has in store for us this season.
Get through early, car pool, or take bus or train, and show Edinburgh what it’s like to have a great team make their home in the city.

My comments were I’m afraid to allow my daughter and nephews attend games unsupervised(they are in their 20sffs) due to IMHO abuse of the act by steward & police.
Who could ruin their future due to a criminal coviction based only on the word of said Stewards & Police officers many whom I suspect due to previous encounters and experiences are far from neutral in enforcing the act.

I just filled in that questionnaire. I think I also filled in the loony who compiled it.
One of the most loaded surveys I have ever seen.
The only reason I completed it,tbh, was to see how bad it was!
Well,if that’s the type of survey that an august establishment think is acceptable,I’ll just keep on telling that it bloody isnae!!!!

How much flexibility do we have in moving around the stadium tonight?
Two mates in W3, one in W1 and yours truly in W21
IGC
It’s pretty much a free for all once through the turnstiles but I would expect that ability to move seats will depend on the crowd in attendance.
Once through the turnstiles you can walk right round the ground and the area inside the ground resembles a park that usually has tents for the rugby punters selling booze and other food outlets.
It will be ideal tonight for those taking kids and I would advise those with kids to get there early. Take advantage of the good weather.
Not sure what Celtic have organised but there may be some sort of fanzone inside the stadium perimiter. It has the scope for it.

Unconfirmed: Craig Gordon to make his competitive debut at Murrayfield – if that’s true then Forsters price had better be £12.5M, that’s £10M in the Celtic back pocket after the Newcastle kick back.
I’d be worried if we had to rely on Zaluska – glad that we have Gordon.
Surprised game not being shown in the lounges at CP ? Not like them to miss a trick.
Dena29,
did you see the article about the Tongan boxer who tweeted that if he received 100 retweets he would carry The Hoops during the Opening ceremony?
Not sure if it was linked here earlier (given its CQN we are talking about, its a cert it was!), but just in case here’s another link:
http://www.joe.ie/football/football-news/tongan-boxer-wins-loads-of-new-fans-by-vowing-to-carry-celtic-shirt-at-commonwealth-games-opening-ceremony/
Sorry for the full link, used to be able to do the fast-link in the past but completely forgot how to do so now.
Looks like he also asked to get tickets for the game tonight and as usual the Hoops Troops didnt let him down!

Nearly time to head enjoy those of you going to the game and I hope those following on here get plenty lots of good news to read.

Glad I was not the only one to have problems with the questionnaire. I was of the opinion that I was being tricked into giving them answers they wish to receive.
My final comment was that I had a meeting with Roseanna Cunningham at which she informed me that the police arrested those whom they deemed to have committed an offence against the OB act. This in my opinion allows the officer to “deem” in a very subjective manner what is legal or not legal.
Hopefully those answering in future will be aware of what is taking place and really go to town on the final section.
Well Bom dia from a brisk n’ breezy Rio (well it is mid-winter here).
In a m move that Campbell Ogilivie would be proud of, today’s the day that the CBF unveil new National manager (groan) Dunga.
In the Brasileirão Serie A, there’s a lot of noise about the return of Kaka to São Paulo and the potential of Robinho’s return to Santos. However, Robinho’s wages (about 50k GBP / week) seem to be the stumbling block there. That, and the fact the Robinho Sr (ie. his Auld Fellah) is demanding another 20k GBP/wk on top for “agents fees”.
Also (and this gives me a certain perverse pleasure) Flamengo are in total disarray, languishing in last place and took a right 4 goal tobering away to Inter-RS on Sunday. Of course they got a “warm” reception from the home fans when they returned at Rio’s Galeão airport yesterday. Or as one paper put it this morning, the most notable thing about their return was they had more security guards with them, than points in the league . Maybe the signing (last week) of another of Celtic fans’ “favourite” divers, Eduardo will help them? Hell mend them both, I say.
First Libertadores semi-final (National, Paraguay v Defensor, Uruguay) is on tonight and, if I can be ersed I’ll wing something up about that later.
Meantime, Lhads n lhasses, bhoys n ghirls have a great time in Embra. Can only say I’m green wi envy.
Viva A Revolução Verde !!!!

I do not believe we should “cash-in” on Fraser. Those vulgar MafiaVegas terms would not pass my lips.
However, if Fraser is set on going AND we get a realistic bid, we should sell him. Celtic’s handling of the sale of Boruc for £2m or less was a scandal. The player quickly displaced a French International to become Fiorentina’s main goalie and then Southampton’s main keeper. Far from selling Artur when his career was on the slide, he has gone on to establish himself again and again as a keeper worth a lot more thna we got for him. Therefore, PL et al made a mistake then.
I would not be happy to rely on Zaluska, a reliable SPFL back-up, or Gordon, whose fitness history makes him a gamble until he proves he can last half-a season without breaking down.
So, in summary, if we have to sell Fraser, get a good fee for him and buy another goalie who is both good enough and fit enough to challenge to be Celtic’s no. 1.

I’ll be shocked if we sign another keeper.
Gordon has been signed to be the number 1 in my opinion.
