Early in the summer I said that to re-sign Kelechi Ineanacho would be an admission of failure that we were unable to scout a player better than one who was unable to compete for 90 minutes last term.
Then we were told the manager wanted him, while hearing that it was difficult to recruit players to Scotland (which is true). Kelechi was invited back, presumably because those privy to inside info on our recruitment plans believed he was better than our alternatives.
Celtic had an option to retain the player for next season, allowed it to lapse, provided Kelechi’s agent with a ‘Player in demand’ opportunity and saw him sign for Turkish side Bursaspor. Meanwhile, there is not a whisper from Celtic. Genuine incredulity among the fans is unanswered, I can only assume because explaining would not make things more palatable.
We will speak more about the direction of the club before the start of the season, but there is plenty to be alarmed about.

Celtic Trust Statement following the statement published earlier this afternoon by the Celtic Supporters Association:
———————–
https://x.com/TheCelticTrust/status/2078842498370146512?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2078842498370146512%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=
There was a time when that CSA statement would have had them labelled ‘bedwetters’ on here.
Thankfully, the fog has lifted for many and the naked emperor is now apparent
(aside – would be interesting to read Dermotts character assassination again. Really was wide of the mark)
I’m not sure why you would issue statements today given what Martin “part of the problem” O’Neil said at his presser yesterday about expecting players in this week.
At the risk of pedantry, MON didn’t “infer” anything. He may have implied something that was inferred by
someone else.
Trying to appear clever to come across as credible is not a great look.

@CFC_Collective
A strong message has been sent by the support today, with one of the lowest attendances since Celtic Park reopened.
Supporters have had enough of being treated as cash cows while our ambition for Celtic is not reflected in the boardroom.
The time for change is long overdue.

Agents rubbing their hands with glee as moronic entitled supporters organisations and so called fan bloggers pile pressure on champions Celtic to push transfer deals through.
Ss
Is that statement being sent to the Club or just for publication on its website?
Martin said that with a little bit of “Luck” we would have players in this week…….LUCK should have nothing to do with it, FFS, it’s becoming, nay it’s become a farce/fiasco/disgrace/etc/etc/etc
i would guess they send it to the club.
THE CELTIC BOARD ARE THE PROBLEM.
MARTIN ONEIL IS PART OF THE PROBLEM.
BURNLEY78 IS PART OF THE PROBLEM.
P67 IS PART OF THE PROBLEM.
Saint Stivs @ 3:47 pm,

Thanks for the link – a year ago, this issue was more than fixable.
In fact they had to go out their way to make this fiasco happen… you’ve got to wonder why…

*or as John Lennon once said; “People asking questions lost in confusion
Well I tell them there’s no problem, only solutions

MARTIN ONEIL IS PART OF THE PROBLEM

Interesting, Tictastic
Your words.
Your use of upper case.
Perhaps you’d be kind enough to list Martin’s crimes against the Celtic support which make him so?

At Birkdale?
Or on here?

Can someone please post the statement from the Celtic Trust. Had a quick look on their site and didn’t see it.
This enjoyment malarkey is hard work. I shall strive to persevere.

I haven’t seen it since it first came out. Hoffman has been in some brilliant films. Could watch the graduate every week.
Not much to see.
Martin “part of the problem” O’Neil “inferred” something then they threw the toys out the pram.

^^
Everybody apart from the 53,000 PLC Enshiners are to blame.
Really?
The great Tommy Burns RIP unknowingly set the biggest mind wiping trap in Celtic history when he said after the 1988 SCF 2-1 vs Dundee Utd, “LOOK AT THE CELTIC FANS JIM [WHITE STV] THEY ARE THERE, AND THEY’RE ALWAYS THERE.”
Poor TB was enslaving the Timmy minds to always be at that level of dedication.
Less than 3 months later that same team were being horsed 1-5 at Ibrox at the start of the horrible Hun 9 in a row.
Things can change so quickly.

Managed to see it.
Now the CSA has joined P67 and Rod Stewart in the bedwetters camp. Where does this madness end? What have these losers got to tell the exceptional, highly qualified individuals who run things at Celtic? In the final analysis it’s pure envy. The likes of Rod Stewart wishes he had Michael Nicholson’s money. Loser.
The return of Kyogo?

It’s called capitulation.
When none’s left to sell, the only way is up.
Happy days 😁
