MARVIN COMPPER ia expected in Glasgow today to agree his £1million switch to Celtic from RB Leipzig.
The 32-year-old central defender will put the final touches on his move before joining the Hoops next month.
Compper is viewed as a steady performer to shore up Brendan Rodgers’ back lot.
The champions suffered a 4-0 loss against Hearts on Sunday where defensive double-act Jozo Simunovic and Dedryck Boyata were heavily criticised.
Erik Sviatchenko, who has struggled with injury this season, is also being tipped to leave in the January transfer window.
There will be no European football this season for Compper, as he would be ineligible for the Europa League last-32 clash with Zenit St Petersburg with the Bundesliga outfit also playing in the competition.
