Financial Fair Play, Winding Up Orders, new CQN Magazine

868

Scottish clubs are now subject to Uefa Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations which insist club’s pay creditors in a timely manner or become subject to sanctions.  These pesky rules should prevent debts reaching a maturity of more than six months old and becoming subject of a Winding-up Order.  I am sure old Heavily Conflicted, also known as the SFA president, will have sprung into action on hearing recent news.

The Rangers yesterday issued a short statement following Channel 4’s story that Orlit Enterprise threatened a Winding-Up Order, insisting, “Rangers Football Club is capable of meeting any debts presented legitimately and we would like to stress to our supporters there is no threat to the Club whatsoever”.  They really need to stay on-message… football clubs are never threatened; it’s only the Company which can be liquidated!  Apparently.

I hear Charles Green is on an international bucket collection, Dubai and then onto Australia.  Meanwhile, it is crucial no one disturbs his important work.  When you think of the people who could have taken ownership of Ibrox last year, he has been absolutely perfect.

On other matters……..

The new edition of CQN Magazine is out and available for your consumption.  Written by and for Celtic fans, it is another Celtic joy!

I’m also delighted to report we have been seriously diss’ed by the Italians ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League game. Notes for the dressing room wall coming up soon!

That’s my take on it too but eventually surely the must be forced to accept they are a NEW club .

I don’t expect it to be the masonic cabal running Scottish football who will enforce this decision but I do think it must be challenged legally by the supporters of all other clubs and indeed the clubs themselves.

We are in the same boat there then. I just wanted to get some in the Bhoys name. He will inherit mine and my old mans in due course but I want to get his own on the wall for when he is a youngster. A shareholder as a kid? The dream that Fergus allowed us to have for our children. God bless that mhan!

Probably worth remembering that some punters in Glasgow allegedly paid 22 million quid for a worthless share in a newco.

So relatively speaking 25 quid for a single celtic share is bargain

McGeouch went off injured playing for Scotland during the week. Watt may get a run out but I would like to see Miku get another start. If the guy is as keen as he keeps saying he is then he should grab this chance to show his class. Hopefully Rogic gets a run out.

Pal who paid way over the odds for a ticket to see /hear Kraftwerk doing Autobahn at the Tate Turbine was sat next to a pair of Yummy Mummies. Seems the Yummy Mummies knew zilch about Kraftwerk and cared even less . Seems it was a chic /exclusive and cool thing for the Yummy Mummies to be doing on a Wednesday night…

I tried to get tickets -no chance .

I would be happy for Asamoah to play against us at Celtic Park, he is a fantastic player but subconsciously he may indeed switch off.

0-0 then a 1-1 or 1-2 are my predictions for the Juve game. That means there should be goals on Tuesday. :))
