DARNELL FISHER is poised to become the SEVENTH young Celt to go on loan this summer.
Alan Stubbs wants the right-back, who spent last season at St Johnstone, to team up with Scott Allan at Rotherham.
The former Hibs manager was reunited with his ex-Easter Road midfielder a week ago and hopes to bring in the 22-year-old Reading-born defender as he raids his old club for a second time.
Allan, a £300,000 buy for ex-Hoops boss Ronny Deila a year ago, was an unused substitute in his new side’s 2-2 draw with Wolves at the weekend.
Brendan Rodgers has already set up other temporary deals for Michael Duffy (Dundee), Jamie Lindsay (Morton), Fiacre Kelleher (Peterhead), Paul McMullan (Dunfermline) and Joe Thomson (Dumbarton).
Gary Mackay-Steven, who has yet to figure in the Irishman’s plans, has been linked with his first club Ross County and could be on the move once he fully recovers from his close-season ankle surgery.
