Hibs and Dundee United are a long way off league stage European football, but they can both fancy their chances in the third qualification round tonight. Even Hibs cannot surely ‘Hibs it’ after winning 0-2 in Belgrade last week. United were excellent in their draw with Rapid but there is still a lot to do in that tie.

Young KIERON BOWIE showed last night in the Hibs game that he KNOWS how a Centre Forward SHOULD PLAY.
Apart from his ” WONDER GOAL”, he constantly held the ball up well, and his work rate thru the 115 minutes that he spent on the Pitch was astonishing, while showing lots of good touches.

Pity United didn’t get through as the play off tie they had would have been the easiest of all 5 Scottish clubs. Gyor away first.
Although Legia are not great I think they will be tough for Hibs and Steau will give Aberdeen a really tough tie. Especially as the away legs are second for both… as they are for Celtic and Rangers.
