CELTIC have been slapped with suspended ticket reductions punishment by the SPFL for offences relating to a pyrotechnics display.
The league bosses have come down heavily on the champions – as well as Aberdeen and Partick Thistle – after all three clubs were “found to be in breach of SPFL rules following the behaviour of supporters.”
The Hoops were found to have breached two of the association’s rules during the Premiership clash with St Mirren on the final league day of the season, which also doubled as Trophy Day for the club.
A section of the hosts’ support, who occupy the North Curve section of Parkhead, set off a large-scale pyros celebration at the match.

A WARM WELCOME…Celtic players take to the Hampden pitch before the Premier Sports League Cup Final triumph over Ibrox opposition in mid-December last year.
As a result, the SPFL have hit the club with a suspended reduction of 200 tickets in the area of the stadium where the display took place for one home match, according to a report in The Scottish Sun.
It would be triggered if another breach relating to pyro use happens in the same part before June 30 next year.
The Dons have been hit by an identical punishment after breaching the same two rules.
Thistle’s censure comes with regards to two incidents during their play-off tie against Scott Brown’s Ayr United at Somerset Parkhead on May 9.
A pyro was lit and thrown onto the pitch, causing a delay to the match and there was another hold up in play following a pitch invasion following Brian Graham’s late winner.
