CELTIC-CRAZY Darren Fletcher will have to wait to see if his boyhood idols make a move for him.
Ronny Deila has said he will hold off until tomorrow to discover where they stand in the race to sign the Manchester United midfielder.
The Scottish international looks set to end his affiliation with the Old Trafford side this month.
Fletcher, 30, has started just four Premier League matches this season, with a further seven appearances coming off the substitutes’ bench.
Deila. though, accepts he would have a tough task persuading him to move north of the border.
He said: “There is nothing new in that matter.
“He has several interested clubs and I think it is best for me to wait until Monday to see where we are.”
West Brom and West Ham are also interested in the Scotland captain who has made 342 United appearances but Celtic remain a viable option for the player.
