A line has hopefully been drawn under the stress Neil Lennon has lived under during the last two years with the conviction of two men found guilty of sending bombs in the post. In a statement, Neil said: This has been a very stressful and difficult time for myself and my family and clearly I am glad that it is over”, before adding, “I will forever be thankful to the Police for the way in which they have handled this matter.”
Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell, added: “No one could imagine the pressure [Neil Lennon] has been under during the past two years. He has coped with this particular episode, last year’s assault and the, at times, seemingly unrelenting attacks from many quarters.
“In my opinion, no-one in Scottish footballing history has had to contend with this level of pressure whilst trying to do their job. Neil Lennon is someone who has shown tremendous character and resilience, and we will continue to support Neil in any way we can.”
This month has been made all the more difficult for Neil Lennon by the sudden death of Paul McBride, also a target of the bombing campaign. Neil Lennon said, “Finally, I would like to mention my good friend Paul McBride. His sad passing remains very raw to those close to him, we continue to miss him dearly and my thoughts remain very much with Paul’s family.”
The SFA have written to Neil Lennon three times since the start of the trial earlier this month to capitalise on perceived transgressions by the Celtic manager while yesterday a former referee used his newspaper column to undermine Neil’s position at Celtic.
These people really do need to get a grip.
Within minutes of the verdict being announced yesterday news of Stilian Petrov’s serious illness was made public. Stilian will received the very best medical attention and all our prayers.

Has the defence been parking the bus?

Surely the above comment cannot be true? Surely not. Kyle Laughatme said Rangers had the best team and the best batch of youngsters. So the above IS NOT TRUE. OK!!!

Paul67 –
Neil Lennon’s spirit will never be broken.
Am i on here myself
OK – they’ve had their fun but make no mistake. Rangers WILL be liquidated…..unless some very ecccentric billionaire pops up in the next few days….and that’s not gonna happen! We know it, Paul Murray knows it and Ally’s known all along
So where will their fans go. Probably nowhere until the new club gets off the ground and even then they’ll get pretty p*****d off watching crap, so they’ll drift off .
The best thing that will happen is that there will be no visceral natural support from the newco.’s club from the press, fans and media, in all it’s forms.
Bigotry won’t be eradicated but there will no longer be a national focus for it, and I’m confident that Ragers fans won’t be allowed to turn back the clock to the way it was until the early 70’s by treating the national team as an extension of their own club .
And remember ….there’s nothing so dangerous as a mortally wounded beast fighting for it’s survival.
It’s not over yet…. but it soon will be.
The storm before the calm :)
Mark Hateley has learned a new word ‘integrity’ and used it today in describing McCoist. A very poor pundit with an annoying transparent bias for his beloved ragers and a unhealthy dislike of anything Celtic.

any computer expert bhoys out there today?
I had some files on a stick but when I tried to access them it came up as corrupt and unreadable so I ran chkdsk – big mistake – now most of the files are not there.
I downloaded a version of Acronis True Image but tbh I don’t have a clue what I am doing.
Any suggestions?
The word on Snyde over the last 30 minutes – Liquidation. Never !!

So do Motherwell get a CL spot whether they come 2nd or 3rd?
——-
As far as I can make out, rANGERs can’t compete in Europe next season, so the team that finishes nearest Celtic would get the second CL spot. I am just hoping it’s Dundee Unt, cos I can’t stand M’Well.
I also think DUnt are being treatly harshly by the Hun/SFA combo.
The end is nigh for Roberto Mancini
Wont be at the game tomorrow, but can you fholks who will be there give Neil a big cheer for me please?
Give the guy a big lift and get the team roused for the final push onto being Champions.
As is clear from Paul67 article, this is a phenomenal feat under the circumstances outlined, for one of the best Celts ever!
Well done Neil Lennon, his staff and all the team – who have lifted themselves dramatically this season. :))))
It must be difficult to remain focused as a player when you know you’ve done all the hard work and it’s just a matter of time before you are a Champion. But hopefully the Bhoys can put on a show in the remaining games. :)))))

Don’t do any more until you have tried some file recovery utilities.
Haven’t used one for ages, but would recommend running it in read only/non-recovery mode, just to see what it reports as recoverable. If it doesn”t find any files to recover, try another.
Some are better than others and some free/some with a small charge.
It depends how important your files are how much you want to gamble on the software. There are no guarantees of recovery either.
Also, might be worth checking if it;’s readable on another computer.
Rico.
I really don’t care where we win the league as long as we win it. It will be appropriate though to win it at Rugby Park as that is where our comeback began.
God Bless Neil Lennon.
Good afternoon. Well the wee 1-hour power nap that I had after the game seems to have done the trick and everything is again right in Jobo’s world.
We possibly have 9 games left to play this season and at least 6 of these have real mening for me –
tomorrow, a 60,000 sell out party atmosphere
next Saturday, we hopefully win the title
following weekend – a cup semi final
next home game – trophy presentation
A final home game against RFC(IA)
A cup final.
What do they have to look forward to?
Jobo
enrico, cheers….do you recommend any file recovery utilities?
Hi Bhoys,my friend is looking for a child friendly pub in Glasgow tomorrow to
watch game & have a bite to eat,any info would be appreciated.
RoccoBhoy
thanks for sorting me out for game tomorrow.
Hail Hail
Would not worry too much about last week’s result, it would have been an extra embarrassment if they couldn’t beat nine men. They only won a solitary derby game last season but got the title which goes to prove that Celtic’s hard graft going 26 games unbeaten is where the Championship was really won. Must be difficult for players to keep focused when you’re winning pulling up.
Let’s hope we put this season’s title to bed in the coming week and get back to winning ways and make it the big double.
Martin O’Neill – Christ, what a winner.
Lets cheer the bhoys tomorrow and have a party.
Sometimes I’ve been asked by one man or
another,
Why do I follow Celtic, why do I take the
bother,
But he must be a fool, who would ask me
such a question,
So then how can I explain, try to tell him
what he’s missing,
And it’s 1, 2, 3, Celtic for me,
Not a team in the world like the Celtic.
If a man has never seen Glasgow Celtic
when they’re playing,
He mustn’t have a soul, mustn’t know what
he is saying,
And if he’s never heard when the Celtic
crowd is cheering,
Then there’s nothing I can say but he must
be hard of hearing,
And it’s 1, 2, 3, Celtic for me,
Not a team in the world like the Celtic.
When Celtic are in Parkhead I am proud to
be there with them,
Soon they play again but sadly I do miss
them,
They’re the team for me, their could never
be another,
And then some fool will ask, why do I take
the bother,
And it’s 1, 2, 3, Celtic for me,
Not a team in the world like the Celtic.
So if anyone should ask and you want to
give a reason,
Tell him go and find himself a ticket for the
season,
And when he’s been to Parkhead and seen
the Celtic playing,
Well it won’t be very long until you will hear
him saying,
Why do I take the bother,
And it’s 1, 2, 3, Celtic for me…

OK – thought there might be just a simple ‘no’ to Rangers and 3rd place treated as normal. Hopefully Motherwell implode and we field a youth team v DU.
