Football protocols above and beyond NHS

In the first and almost certainly only time I’ll ever quote Motherwell manager, Stephen Robinson, the Motherwell manager said, “”The protocols [football has]adhered to are above and beyond anything else, it’s above the NHS frontline staff.

“And football can give respite from the mental health side of things. In a world where things are complicated and strange, football can be that relieving factor, that little bit of joy and happiness.”

But holding test events?  Testing is anathema to governments in Edinburgh and London, where superstition is the route followed by our governing twins.  Instead, they open the pubs for fans to congregate indoors, untested and without any chance of proper supervision.  There is no scientific evidence for this preference, in fact, this choice goes against all evidence.  Football is the most prepared industry in the country to allow staff and public to participate, as Stephen Robinson said, more so than the NHS, but your governments chose differently.

My cousin is a nurse in Glasgow. Back in May she, along with several of her ward colleagues, had a fever and other covid symptoms. They were sent home to isolate. None of them were tested to confirm that they had Covid. They all returned to work after a couple of weeks as if nothing had happened.

hi mate.sound reply to St Stivs.

A friend of mine experienced similar to your coùsin, told to isolate, did so and got a home kit sent to her home, thankfully negative, and back on ward after 4 days off,i think its the pull of their profession mate,at that mate, true heroes…dunno if she has ever heard of Stephèn Robinson 😊

    HH and stay safe mate

Many thanks for copying a far more extensive and quote from the Motherwell manager. Read as a whole, the sentiments and underpinning facts read really well. As does he.

He was rather selectively quoted in the leader article. Almost MSM-like.

Disappointing. But not surprising these days.

    HH jg

The World Economic Forum is where Ive been saying the” Great Reset “should be checked out.

They are at the heart of world governance connected to the UN -the World Health Organization etc.

If you do go on their site look for the sphere graphic . A whole ring of items which when you click one another ring of world topics come. Click on one of the another appears . This show years of high level planning.

Please take time to look at this. Of course they show a great green future but…………….

I was trying to counteract the over-the-top fear mongering – brainwashing from the media-government. More people now are dying now from restrictions .

Cancer patients and others cant get the vital treatment they need ,suicides are soaring .

Why do the now low-level of covid deaths take precedence over all the many other people with life threatening illness?

  5. Saint Stivs,

Wee geography lesson for you bud, Bobby’s statue is in Saltcoats just a wee bit south of Ard-rossan . Was there today on my way to the best bakery in the country . Geography was 1 subject I did enjoy when I could be bothered staying after registration class.

Keep on keeping on, but you are up against it big time.

I have posted stuff about this on a few occasions and asked posters to challenged what I posted was untrue, as yet not a single challenge, tho I know that a fair few want to but can’t cos they know what I have said it true, everything I posted can be found on government sites, or the likes of the WEF or the WHO, et all, I haven’t posted an opinion, only facts that the MSM are failing to tell the public, facts that are out there if only people were to do a little digging.

The best site IMO for honest-truthful info, info where he links everything he says, is The Corbett Report, his four parter on Bill Gates is astounding and superb journalism.

Really graceful is good as well.

Amazing how the CDC are now the bad guys when at the start of the plandemic they were the go to ones for info, now they are telling it like it is they are suddenly the bad guys.

If I were to tell the blog that the C-19 was developed in N Carolina America and was outsourced to Wuhan by Dr Fauci I would be told I am an idiot, a bit like you were told cos it wasn’t on the MSM.

    I am not an idiot BTW >}

  7. Is it really that important to be back in Celtic park watching football again ,right now 🤔

Or do some folk just want to moan about anything and everything 🤷‍♀️

Seems to be better now just a couple of ads at top and bottom of page , earlier there was no difference whether java was on or off ?

  9. You’re a season ticket holder and you get told you can take yir chances.Who would be at the hibs game🤔

It sure would be !! I take it your moniker is Hamilton related ? If so do you know a ghuy called John Green ?

Thanks, I couldn’t find the exact page but I did find this re The Great Reset on their site –

‘Wealth needs to be more broadly redistributed.

‘Governments will need to intervene more to ensure better and fairer outcomes from private sector investments.’

‘New institutions need to incorporate profound reforms to ensure better racial integration.’

.. and it goes on to criticise the IMF enforced austerity in Latin America.

Okay, so what exactly am I missing here? In an earlier post you mentioned Trump as ‘an unlikely saviour’ (I think, apologies if I’m misquoting you but I don’t have the time to look back). Trump is actively trying to corrupt democracy in the United States and wants to be the Putin of America. In what possible way could he classed as a saviour? Unless you hate democracy of course, then I could understand.

  12. If all the conspiracy theories and evidence behind COVID have been posted on the internet then it strikes me that the biggest influencer on the internet currently destabilizing Western governments has never been linked to COVID.

Guy I’m talking about has recently moved down to Girvan but has had the house here for a few years

  14. Adi – dont you start.

She lives with us. Our bubble.

I’m going, I need a break, Martin can look after the office.😂 and he says it’s ok

    An tearmann

Surely the Scottish government should step up to support sport in Scotland.

Your correct Gene they should.alas in these times they are fighting against a range needs and until today i didnt read of any approach to central govt.

our club/league and fa have been silent

There is no money in football.except for one league in europe the epl.

As youll know with old div 2,3 and 4 there is chaos looming.Scotlands league structure is same.

i have listened to upwards of £50m being mentioned though if thats for football or sport in general ,knowing politicians itll be sport!!

anyways how would that be split.?on what basis? just asking and how much would Celtic get? (keepin in mind last accounts cash at bank)

Neil Lennon getting asked about fans and game with fans.i would much rather hàve either Peter Lawell or Ian Bankier taking responsibility in this.step forward .its time for leadership.not only at our club but all over our “industry” they have been to quiet as a body approaching government maybe that jrg group shows as a club, league and fa.we are (finally) looking at ways to ensure football has a future.

hope you and your are well and keeping safe

In general when football is asking for a bail out people look at the EPL teams who are still spending millions and say ‘ physician heal thyself ‘

  17. Big Georges Fan Club - Hail, Hail, Wee Oscar on

BAMBOO – TET – not unwilling to argue the point, but I’m just in after a very long day – more work to do tonight, so apologies, I’ll have to leave that to others.

One wee point that is often mentioned in relation to current death, hospitalisations and ITU admissions – and you touch on this when you say “…Why do the *NOW* low-level of covid deaths take precedence…” [the emphasis is my own].

I don’t think it is the current low-level that takes precedence, it is the certainty that that low-level is now rising, and will continue to rise if the increasing incidence (SOME of it an artifact due to increased testing) is not tackled. The ease of spread of the virus, coupled with the severe and multi-faceted impact on on many who contract it means that, without widespread social interventions (and I am NOT saying the ones being employed by government are all correct) incidence will increase, hospitalisations will increase, ITU admissions will increase, deaths will increase.

You may find this paper interesting – it provides an analysis of objective data collected from some 81,000 Covid-19 cases (95% of which were laboratory confirmed) across more than 40 countries – https://media.tghn.org/medialibrary/2020/09/ISARIC_Data_Platform_COVID-19_Report_20AUG20.pdf

So – not an opinion piece or theory – observable, measurable, robust evidence.
