CRUNCH…Odin Holm is challenged by Kilmarnock’s David Watson in one of his first games for Celtic following his £2.6million arrival in June 2023.
Late last year, Holm opened up on a health issue that left him fighting to save his career. He revealed he had a rare condition in his calves that left him feeling “half-paralysed” when he plays.
Holm had been relying on Botox injections to keep on going.
In October last year, he insisted: “I have a strong desire to make it happen at Celtic.
“But the primary goal now is to get my body in order.”
Holm is under contract at the Hoops until June 2028, but there appear no signs he is in Martin O’Neill’s plans with another temporary switch looking like his best chance to get back on a football pitch.
It has been reported his agents and advisors are actively searching for a loan shift from Parkhead with interest allegedly being shown from clubs in his homeland and Austria.
The deadline is Monday February 2 and the clock is ticking for the player.
