The last thing James Forrest needed on returning to the first team after a lengthy injury absence is a two-week international break. James needs games to deliver the match fitness that is simply not possible by training. It could take him until the end of the season before he is at anything like his best.
John Kennedy will be keen to get James fit for the business end of the Scottish Cup, so I expect he will make substitute appearances in most games over the coming weeks, and perhaps a start on 3 April and play part of the game against Arbroath or Falkirk in the Cup itself. The Cup is only a landmark, though, like the rest of his teammates, the priority for James is to be in peak condition for the summer’s Champions League qualifiers.
In terms of Sunday, it’s not often I say this, but I think the players owe us one.

Mostly all I have seen on the blogs is people affiliated to celtic being asked or highlighted
Has one single hack asked Gerrard or any other sevconian their view on it
If not then why not
Could it be that we (celtic fans) would then ask why the same hack did not challenge them on WHY they refused to give CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB the same respect

I met a couple of Tims today and we never mentioned the guard of honour.
I’ve just asked on Whatsap people’s opinion and everyone has replied that they wouldn’t – nope/respect goes 2 ways/f*** off being some of the replies.
It still doesn’t change my train of thought that I would have had one.
The trouble with the guard of honour is that we already have the moral high ground and it counts for two thirds of * all.

I think we have made it so easy for their defence recently and I’d like that we would always have an out and someone chasing them down, not giving them a minute.

JHB – a great book called Unpatriotic History of worl war 2 takes a slightly different view of europes inability to fight the nazis. Left wing partisans across Europe played a much greater role in beating nazism than the allies wanted to admit.

This freakish season could produce any number of outcomes tomorrow.
My hope is that there is a lev of professional pride in our squad that wants to demonstrate that they are still the better players. But I feel it really is more hope than expectation on my part.
Still, I’ll look on, I’ll kick every ball, I’ll feel every blow amd lap up any joy.

A thing I thought was strange from an interview with SG about the alleged racist incident is that he said
That the incident leads to other players and then the fans to react
Or something like that .
I thought that strange as there were no fans at the game .
