GIGGS LINK STARTS CRAZY SEASON ON CELTIC STORIES

RYAN GIGGS has emerged in the English media as a shock candidate to replace Ronny Deila as Celtic search for a replacement.
It is being reported that the Manchester United legend, currently Louis van Gaal’s assistant at Old Trafford, is apparently aware of the Hoops’ interest.
The 42-year-old Welshman sees his long-term future as a manager and is reported to be keen on taking a top job.

However, there are indications Giggs is unconvinced a move to Scotland would represent the right career move at this stage of his development in coaching.

He is also looking for clarification on his long-term future at United before making a decision on his future.

Giggs has been earmarked by Old Trafford chiefs to become manager at some stage and they want to keep the one-club man, but are also aware of his desire to become a manager.

But his route to the United hot-seat could be blocked with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and Spurs gaffer Mauricio Pochettino both touted as candidates to take over from Van Gaal, who has failed to turn things around after taking over in July 2014.

The Dutchman moved in after Giggs had been in charge in a caretaker capacity for four games following the sacking of Davie Moyes in April that year.
Tosh McKinley told the Celtic supporters at the recent Tommy Gemmell CSC dinner that as a boy he could have signed for Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool but as none of these clubs were interested he signed for Dundee!
Ryan Giggs fell over or even dived to win Manchester United a penalty against Celtic in the Champions League. There was no contact from Celtic that night at Old Trafford and none now either.
