Do to Scotland what you did to Celtic

282

I don’t want to see a single Scotland player forced to miss the Croatia game as a result of Billy Gilmour’s positive test, announced today.  I did not want to see 13 Celtic players forced to miss two games, two weeks training sessions and isolate at home, following Christopher Jullien’s positive test in January.  I did not want to see Ryan Christie miss Celtic games after Stuart Armstrong’s positive result in October, but the latter two happened.

The disruption caused to Celtic’s season was immeasurable and, when 13 players as well as coaching staff were forced to isolate, the result of predatory Track and Trace action.  Billy Gilmour did not travel to Wembley alone, he did not have his own dressing room at the stadium, he did not eat alone, he did not socialise alone.  The government officials who hammered Celtic will look the other way today.

Ms Sturgeon, if  you are that concerned with public health, do to Scotland what you did to Celtic.  We all know there is zero chance of that happening.

Hope so! You never know. It’s a low risk extension. He knows he has a season to show it.

New shape/ philosophy could make him. Appears to have a good attitude (probably why he’s still here) despite perceived lack of progress.

Everyone can read your resorting to discredit me and my point as it does not suit your agenda.

Personal insults shows a failing argument and a complete, utter, inability to show balance.

I have no insecurities. I have gotten on well with my life, but will never, ever stop calling out any discrimination on us or anyone else.

You should be prepared for that and I’m sure others will remember your behaviour over this.

“Setting free the bears – as usual, you (intentionally) mis-read the post, as well as the poster. I am no SNP voter, I’ve stated that repeatedly on here. My criticism is with Pauls tiresome childlike SNP-BAD rants, week after week. You challenge me to address the issue, so why not ask the same of Paul? Like a fair few on here, i log in for the conversation, not the often laughable views of the host. After all, we all do support a club, if not a blog, open to all.

And where exactly did I suggest that track & trace was improving, or even remotely successful? ”

    —————

So you are not an SNP voter but you object to them being criticised. What are you then? A fellow traveller? A mild supporter who deoes not vote for them? Or, as with most on here, you vote SNP (or Alba) but only to get Independence so you can deny being an SNP supporter (an unconvincing piece of specious reasoning, if I ever heard one). If you have voted for them or alba you are a supporter, however temporary that support was.

I challneged you to address YOUR issues. Paul already ariculated his- you gave nothing but ad hominem- apart from your praise of Track & Trace, which you now deny making.

That is why I always produce your own words and do so again:-

You said to Paul- “You choose to wilfully ignore the countless changes and advances in testing & isolation protocols since January”

An advance is an improvement is it not?

And you still did not answer my questions on your true beliefs- speak them out- Are we not allowed to call the SNP bad when they have been bad? Or is your belief that they have never done anything worthy of criticism?

Or does that logic not work when you are vehemently defending the SNP that you do not support

    Aff Oot

  6. Off oot to Parkhead with my mate who is going to renew.

Going to ask them about this ambiguity about signing up for games. Not one person we encountered on Saturday had a scooby.

I hope media talk of Leeds trying to poach Leo Hjelde are just that …….talk . It worries me that we lose so much of our best young talent .

Maybe when Ange arrives later this week he will have a talk with the youngsters personally and get them on board with his vision for the club .

New broom and all that, trying my best to find the positives but you know me…….

  9. Setting free the bears…once more, but this will be the last from me in reply to your tiresome, repetitive hot air…

What i object to is Pauls incessant but pointless blaming of the Scottish government for the majority of Celtics failings.

As for my voting preferences, I’ll leave that up to your dreary little imagination. You clearly know way more than I do as to who I do or don’t cast my vote for (or support, as you bizarrely put it).

As for your desperate attempts to put words in my mouth regarding my thoughts on test & trace (thoughts which i have not shared) just give it up. An advance is not always an improvement, no matter how much you wish that I had suggested it was. An advance can just as easily be defined as a change from January to June. Unless you know differently, that is. I defer to your years of experience in dealing with such medical pandemic-related matters.

And as for criticism of the SNP, knock yourself out. If you really did know my thoughts on SNP policy, you must have (yet again) accidentally ignored the fact that I have repeatedly said on here that i cannot vote SNP. I have previously stated here that I wouldnt piss on James Dornan (my msp) if he was on fire, far less give him my vote. But seeing as how you have profiled me so accurately, you already knew that, didn’t you pal?

Now lets just end this now. With your permission, I’ll keep on expressing MY opinions on here. If you don’t agree with them, dry yer eyes and get over it. Your delicate sensibilities are pretty close to being the very least of my concerns…

Lol ! For me, every new season provides new hope, a new start, it doesn’t always match the hope but it is exciting thinking about it! HH

  11. A whopping 5.4million shares of Celtic have been snapped up overnight by Lindsell equity group.[London Stock Exchange]

Lindsell train has long been the second biggest shareholder in Celtic. Their investment in the club is not emotional and they are hands off for the most part.

The equity group seek out opportunities in the sporting market where they believe there’s heavy potential for growth and profit.

Lindsell are playing the long game with Celtic shared and believe when the club leaves the Scottish football league setup, the shares will likely quadruple in value making a massive profit for the group.

It means there’s been someone shifting shares in the club and happy to do so.

At last we checked the Lindsell company had 18.6% holdings in the business.

We’re unsure what this means right now for the bigger picture.

The Celtic Trust met on Monday evening to discuss further steps in how they deal with the current custodians of the club.

The groups goal is for fans ownership, but that looks like an insurmountable pipe dream at the moment.

The big worry is with just two groups holding over 50% of Celtic’s shares, we could be open to a hostile takeover in the future.

Celtic fans having more of a say through shareholdings would be welcome. The Trust are trying to engage small shareholders to come on board with them to vote with the supporters and the Trust when it comes to vital issues.
