TEEMU PUKKI insists he wants to stay at Brondby – despite failing to score for seven successive games.
The Finnish international is due to return to Celtic at the end of the campaign following his season-long loan at the Danes.
Pukki got off to a flying start, but has struggled in recent weeks. However, he wants to end on a high as he aims to remain at Brondby on a permanent basis.
The £3million misfit, who joined the Hoops from Schalke two years ago, admitted he wasn’t concerned about his lack of goals.
He said: “As a striker, you like to score as much as possible, which is the same for me.
“But the key is not to think about it all the time.

“I know that the goals will come, so there is no reason to go over and over it.”
So far this season the 25-year-old has netted 10 times for his third-placed club in all competitions.
The SPFL champions are prepared to take a loss on the transfer value of a player who still has two years of his current Hoops contract to run.
Brondby, though, are reported not to be took keen on forking out £1million for the Finn.
