Going one better next season

We had a special night at the Celtic Supporters’ Association’s 67th Annual Rally last night.  It was great to see our two treble winning captains: Tom Boyd giving praise to the giant of the European game, Billy McNeill.

I had a chat with Scott Brown, who received his Association Player of the Year award.  A day before he collects his fourth consecutive league championship trophy you’d think he would afford a moment of satisfaction, but he’s not happy this isn’t a treble winning season.  The events at Hampden last month have left an open wound.  All he could talk about was going one better next season.

Before you leave for the game tomorrow remember to bring along some change to buy a Ronny Roar badge to raise funds for the work of your Foundation.  See you there.

Looks like we will be depending on Motherwell

Now you really are barrel scraping.

Time to accept that THEY will be amongst us next season.

Only relevant question is will Celtic recruit to stay ahead of THEM.

Or will PL pursue the ‘Just Enough’ strategy that has delivered acceptable balance sheets, but on the park at times given the fans grief?

  3. Are Hibs still gash?

    Refuse to watch the game.

Better things to do with my time.

Currently watering some plants, and offering words of encouragment to them.

Really looking forward to tomorrow. Should be a great spectacle, hope there’s loads of youngsters going and get the Celtic running through their veins. Sounds like we will need loads of new Bhoys n Ghirls to fill the seats for disenchanted supporters

In the English Championship, all 4 participants are in the Championship. In Scotland, one of the 4 is in the Premiership.

Paul as you are around will PL tell us how he voted regarding king?

Neganon. Sorry to be pedantic. Paul can only ask the question. If he is so minded.

He really can’t second guess PL.

Were I doing the second guessing, I would reckon on some kind of confidentiality guff.

  17. Rangers will be back in the same league as Celtic coz….Celtic’s fans were too busy gorging on Jelly & ice cream when the hun beast was lying wounded on the deck…thing is….the hun-beast slithered it’s way through the divisions coz….nobody had the cojones to hammer the stake through the hun-beasts heart.

Now the hun-beast will swagger straight into the same league as dilly-dallying Celtic PLC….who’s charmed existence could be under threat….if….the huge amount of conceited-sheep get a season of mibbery the likes of which has not been seen since the BTM-take-it-on-the-chin-days….rammed right intae thum…..!!!!

My auld pal, Hugh Keevins was mentioning on the SSB last night that…Sam Allardyce’s name keeps getting mentioned in hun-circles….could big Mike be about to catch the Celtic board sleeping….?

Reap what ye sow – CSC

    That’s it……oot.

Keep going. You’re about 3 posts away from singing the Sash.

Telling the truth can be hurtful. Even to the teller.

  19. Quonno Tom is a member of the flat earth society who doesn’t believe there is any

Corruption and cheating going on in Scotland.

  20. Lots of lovely sectarian singing going on in Edinburgh today.

I’m sure focus will be all over it………

  21. the long wait is over on

Anyone who believes that Rangers , in some kind of reincarnation that the fans of the old club would claim as the original , were ever going to be wiped from the face of the earth and that it was within Celtics power to deliver that is , IMHO , delusional.

They were simply never just going to cease to exist.

  22. KevJ –

Hugh Keevins talking about Sam Allerdyce for Rangers is as daft as you would expect from him, but even if it were true, what on earth has it got to do with Celtic?
