Going one better next season

943

We had a special night at the Celtic Supporters’ Association’s 67th Annual Rally last night.  It was great to see our two treble winning captains: Tom Boyd giving praise to the giant of the European game, Billy McNeill.

I had a chat with Scott Brown, who received his Association Player of the Year award.  A day before he collects his fourth consecutive league championship trophy you’d think he would afford a moment of satisfaction, but he’s not happy this isn’t a treble winning season.  The events at Hampden last month have left an open wound.  All he could talk about was going one better next season.

Before you leave for the game tomorrow remember to bring along some change to buy a Ronny Roar badge to raise funds for the work of your Foundation.  See you there.

  1. If it has stood them in good stead in the past, it’s only in this past 3 years as they are a NEW Club.

  2. Looking on the bright side at least we will be rid of Motherwell next season. That’s a bonus.

  3. world peace is none of your business on

as usual in these games hibs will score with about three minutes to go and they will run out of time to get another.

we will soon see the legendary defender and ultimate professional bilel moshni or billy moshni as hes known to his follwers exit scottish football,,minutes silence should be held at every ground.

  4. I see der hun are approaching ever closer.

  5. Dear dear Tom can you provide me with any evidence of my so called Rangers cheerleading?

I look forward to seeing it.

Don’t know why you’re being berated for stating a pretty obvious fact.

They are where they are in the play offs because they were better than QOS and have been far better than Hibs. Miller was by far the best player on the pitch in the last game and his goal a brilliant finish.

That it pains me to say all that and that I want them to lose 6-0 every time they run onto a pitch isn’t going to blind me to plain fact.

As far as I am concerned, the neanderthals belting out the Ould Numbers at Easter Road are exactly the same neanderthals who have been belting them out for the last century.

THEY are the same club/people with all the same nastiness.

I am being berated because some folk simply cannot face up to the truth. Truth that is very often unpleasant.

Tom is also one of the angrier members of said flat earth society.

Burst his bubble with things like the truth and he won’t be happy.

    Two points –

1 almost everything about Them is unpleasant.

2 with the GASL at the helm there’s not going to be much real truth about over their way

    Tom, hi…..

Scott MacDonald will be sent off as soon as he looks at the goals.

    Rangers cheer-leading…..?

Nah, just pointing out the path that is being paved in front of Timdoms eyes as….the Celtic hierarchy….do what they do best….take Celtic fans money…then…look the other way when awe the mibbery starts….sad but,….true….for 127 years.

  14. I just want to make sure everyone gets it Tom. Stay calm.

You must be losing a fortune at the bookies Tom

    QoS will beat them

    hibs will beat them

    Now Motherwell will beat them

    Dearie me.

The play offs were only introduced as protection for the Hun in case they screwed up. Job done. They won’t be allowed to lose.

It’s all very simple when you are prepared to see the truth Tom.

I see your friends are calling Stubbs a Fenian B. Will they be punished Tom?

  15. Quonno

You only give them credibility and legitimacy by pandering to their agenda. As some are wont to say on here….different shit, same flies and smell.

  16. world peace is none of your business on

turn the colour down to black n white and it looks like 22 players on the same team.

scotty mcdonald would love to have some of these chances in front of goal.

goal hibs.i must be spychic as i just predicted that.

  17. And the referee blows the final whistle before the injury time is finished.

How does that song go again.

    It’s the little things……….

Maybe we wouldn’t divide so easily if we had some inspiring leadership.

  19. Curly…

Sorry to here about your workplace closing.

I’ll likely be in the same position In a couple of years. American owned company, bearing manufacturing, they built a factory in China, supposedly only for the Asian market…my erchie.

More and more of our work is being out sourced to them, in my eyes it’s only a matter of time until they pull the plug on us.

There’s a major factory just been built in harthill, they are having a recruitment drive, oil related manufacturing and paying top dollar, might be worth a look.

    Best of luck. HH

The MIB wasn’t required to do too much but knocking off 1 minute of injury time was his chance ti shine

  21. Was hoping Hibs would offer some hope today but they’ve been dire in the second half.

Curly: Hope you find new employment when the current job ends.

Equality referendum which allows same-sex marriage in Ireland certain to be passed later today.

“Rangers will be back in the same league as Celtic coz….Celtic’s fans were too busy gorging on Jelly & ice cream when the hun beast was lying wounded on the deck”

The beast wasn’t “wounded”, it WAS and IS and WILL continue to be stoney parrot deid and no-one and nothing can change that cept divine intervention.

Suppose your only possible response is to carry on boycotting Celtic games as you have been since Rameses II was on the throne in Egypt but my, how we miss you, honest.
