THE Greg Taylor transfer saga has finally come to a conclusion with the Celtic defender joining PAOK.

The 27-year-old Scotland international left-back, who quit the champions at the end of his contract, has signed a three-year deal with the Greek Super League club.

Taylor joined the Hoops in a £2.1million deal from Kilmarnock in summer 2019, and won 11 honours – five Premiership titles, three Scottish Cups and three League Cups.

PRIZE GUY…Greg Taylor with the 2025 Premiership trophy, one of five titles he won in his six years at Celtic.

He scored nine goals and made 216 appearances after making his debut against St Mirren back in October 2019.

A club statement said: “Everyone at Celtic thanks Greg for everything he did for Celtic over the past six years and wish him and his family every success in the future.”

Former fans’ Kieran Tierney, of course, officially rejoined the Hoops today after his six-year absence following his £25million move to Arsenal in the summer of 2019.

Japanese left-sided operator Hayato Inamura is expected to join Brendan Rodgers’ squad this week.
