CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS is poised to get involved in Celtic pre-season preparations for the first time against Chelsea in Indiana tonight.
The US international centre-back was late to catch up with his team-mates after playing for his adopted nation in the Copa America competition.
Carter-Vickers watched the 4-0 opening win over DC United in Washington last weekend and the 4-3 triumph over Mancheser City in North Carolina on Wednesday.
But the Southend-born stopper is ready to play at at least some stage of the final match of the tour against the Stamford Bridge side.
The encounter against the Londoners is scheduled to take place at the Notre Dame Stadium, home of the Fighting Irish, the American Football team.
Stephen Welsh and Liam Scales started in central defence in the victories in the American capital and over Pep Guardiola’s side, but there is a chance Brendan Rodgers will put the Hoops’ rock-solid back-four performer into his line-up for the kick-off.

Cameron Carter-Vickers said: “It’s my first time here at Notre Dame and in Indiana, as well. All the facilities here are amazing and I’m looking forward to the game.
“I joined up with the team a couple of days before our game against DC United and we’ve had two good games so far.
“It’s always good to be out here and I think the support has been good. Hopefully, that will continue tonight.”
The former Spurs defender, speaking to Celtic TV, added: “Right from when we first got here in Washington, when you walked around the city you’d see green and white shirts.
“That’s been the same everywhere we’ve went – in North Carolina and now here.
“It’s definitely a great feeling for us and we just want to go out there and perform in front of the fans and, hopefully, send them home happy.”
