It’s always encouraging to read positive comment on your club, so the positivity from a sports brand consultant at Brand Finance was welcome. Apparently we are something of a commercial miracle, reaching parts no one else from a small country can come close to.
It’s also delightful hearing about glamour preseason friendlies (not quite announced yet, but coming). We are a club with more than just history, we have a team the best in the world want to play. We also have a future.
We have the league championship trophy in the boardroom, Champions League qualifiers to look forward to, and the sun is shining on Glasgow!
These are great times for Celtic.

I take it from your comments that you also experienced those creatures dressed from the Napoleonic era today?
Funny thing
When Aiden playrd at paradise we had so many on here telling Aiden TGTF! He wasnt team player he didnt do this didnt do that Some even blamed him for us losing league in wgs last season ffs
Now he isnt a Celtic player he is a class act !
Shame on you who couldnt appreciate THE special talent our club nurtured into a top european class player
Dying to know what the rest of the story is of course, although I doubt I’ll be all that shocked when we find out what it is. It’s a long time since I was surprised at the depths they are prepared to plumb.
What’s REALLY intriguing me is…
Who’s gonna break the story :-)
Hail Hail,
KevinBhoy.
Evening Bhoys!
Not to gloat but………….
On the 45th anniversary of the lions biggest achievement did any of you manage to get a hold of the big cup?
Must have been me lol
I can die a happy man!
Hail Hail

Was in town today with my daughters when we saw the scum coming along the road. What’s that all about asked my youngest. It’s marching bands, I told her. We walked on ahead of them and some movement caught my eye. It was the wee one dancing along the pavement to the tunes! PML. She then asked me if there was a strike on. No, why? Cos last time we saw marching bands it was a strike day! :)))

Uncanny timing? Some of them came past my house just as the Irish national anthem was played on Sky.Lets just say that in this warm weather all the windows were open and the dog accidentally sat on the raise volume button on the remote.

“Rangers came dangerously close to being ejected from the SPL due to charges levelled at the club and Craig Whyte last month which included bringing the game into disrepute amongst other charges. At that point the judicial panel gave serious consideration to ejecting Rangers from Scottish football and they opined that “only match fixing in its various forms might be a more serious breach”

To my mind, unless it was on an enormous scale (and let’s face it, it probably wouldn’t have to be) then it wouldn’t be that big a surprise.
I don’t know what I’m expecting but I’m expecting better/worse than a few matches fixed.

My brother was trying to persuade me to give the kids a bucket and tell them to collect money by pretending it’s for their “fighting fund”.”They’ve robbed us for years”he said,”get it intae them.”He then phoned the police to complain about the flags on the lamp posts in Cambuslang.”You can’t complain about the Union Jack’s but no way am I accepting Apprentice boys flags on lamp posts”Totally agree!!!!

You’ve trained your dog well :-)
Their drums were heard from inside that very same place a couple of years ago and the pp addressed the issue, saying that despite him protesting, they continued to be allowed to march past at end of Mass, ‘but never mind, there are more of us than there are of them’.
TGCW
Stayed well away from the nonsense today.
However heard that thousands of people were
prevented from going about their normal business because of it.
When they carried the Vogue banner across Rutherglen Main Street
for 5 minutes it made front page news.
You figure.

Ah,but not me,my learned friend!
Watched that kid lift a team and carry it on his shoulders so many times.Doubled up on,and sometimes even three markers around him, each time he was in possession of the football.Kicked up and down the place, never ever hid though.
Seen him light up Celtic Park, against the finest teams in European football, witnessed his sheer audacity and outrageous skill against many a Ranges team.Trying things that very few footballers would even dare to attempt. No Jinky, but sure who was? Reminded me of Jinky at times, all the same, sleeves rolled up,socks rolled down…
Still relatively young,in footballing terms, yet he has already won almost fifty caps for his country.
The Trapp thinks that he is the bees knees.
A class act he is.

I live quite close to the park so couldn’t avoid them. What peed me most was hearing about it for the first time last night,my brother phoned to warn me.Amazing!you can live beside people for years and find out more about them in one day when the Orange Walk passes!!

Certainly would explain the desperate attempts to bury the biggest sports story in world history. why, when year after years it’s same old same old, would you do that?
Rico
Journos, would explain why they’re still so reluctant to talk about it and why Chico the Clown is advocating witholding evidence.
I like that Danish song – decently performed, good-looking singer.
I mean, er, England struggling against a compact Norwegian side, and I can’t see them doing well in the Euros.
TGCW
You don’t have to scratch the surface too far
to find what lies beneath.
That is is the essence of the problem in our country.
If we are to be an independent country Salmond must end
this nonsense.
Sorry for getting a bit political.

EDB /Barcabhoy.
I don’t agree with the stark manner of EDB’s post to you,but i do share his frustration at posts’s such as yours.
They quite often lead to wild speculation ,that quickly spreads to urban myth.
When these spurious rumours are proven to be false ,then the real facts are more easily dismissed.
I know that it isn’t your story ,but please give us some facts so that it will stop the
“Murray bugged McCanns phone ,and EBT’s were paid to Dallas and Traynor,”
type crap that is emanated it’s way on my phone and Facebook from fellow Tims .
Tims who are desperate to believe such crap.
I hope that you can fill out your previous post with some factual content.

If they’ve fixed matches it will be in an endemic, eye popping way.
EBTs for officials and whistlers?
Wouldn’t surprise me TBH…

What relation are you to Aiden?(;-)
For my pennies worth Aiden is NOT a world class player.
He is International class, that is quite an achievement in my book.

Gordon 64:
Salmond told Cardinal Winning a long time ago that he should fight to keep Catholic Schools since they were the best in Scotland. I believed at the time that he would really change Scotland partly because of his conversation with the cardinal. However he has now had long enough to remove sectarian marching from our society and instead has brought in legislation which is impossible to legislate and is just money wasting lip service. I do not believe he will ever rid Scotland of this nonsense. That will be left to “internet bampots” once the current pantomime finishes.
