CELTIC are working on a frantic beat-the-clock loan deal for SC Freiburg forward Junior Adamu.
The 24-year-old Austrian international forward is awaiting the green light to travel to Scotland to complete the signing formalities, according to Sky Sports Germany.
Adamu has netted two goals for the Bundesliga outfit this season after collecting four last term.
The £5.5million recruit from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2023 has dropped down the pecking order at the German side and has made just one appearance in the last nine league games.
It’s not clear if an option-to-buy clause will be part of the deal which will initially run until the end of the season.
Two other unnamed clubs are also reported to be monitoring the player’s situation.
