GREEN LIGHT: HAKSABANOVIC JETS IN

1

SEAD HAKSABANOVIC has jetted into Scotland and the Rubin Kazan winger is poised to sign a five-year deal within the next 24 hours.

The 23-year-old Montenegro international attacker has been on Ange Postecoglou’s wanted list throughout the summer and the Greek-Australian gaffer is now confident of getting the deal over the line, as CQN reported yesterday.

Haksabanovic, who told friends he had his heart set on joining the champions, has already been at the club’s Lennoxtown training HQ.

HOMING IN…Sead Haksabanovic is on his way to the champions.

The versatile Sweden-born forward, who can play on both flanks and through the middle, cost the Russian club £6million when he joined from IFK Norkopping in July last year, but the Hoops will only have to pay a third of that fee for the player who spent the second half of last season on loan at Djurgardens, according to the Daily Record.

Haksabanovic moved after the country’s invasion of Ukraine and the Stockholm-based outfit wanted to make the switch permanent, but the touchline ace’s preference is to join Ange Postecoglou’s Hoops revolution.

Now the exciting talent is poised to become the manager’s EIGHTH signing of this transfer window.
