THE sensational deal that will see Kyogo Furuhashi leave Celtic and Filipe Jota return has been sealed, according to reports.

OLD PALS’ACT…Kyogo Furuhashi and Filipe Jota celebrate a goal from the Japanese striker in the 5-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park in August 2022.
The international hitman netted 85 goals in his three and a half years at the club after arriving in a £4.6million move from J-League Vissel Kobe in July 2021.
Jota, who signed a permanent £6million deal at the champions from Benfica in the summer of 2022 after his initial season-long loan, left the club in July 2023 in a staggering £25million transfer to Saudi Arabia.
Just weeks after joining Al-Ittihad, he was excluded from their Saudi Pro League squad. The 25-year-old flamboyant touchline ace moved to Rennes last summer, but the arrival of Joao Sampaoli as head coach saw him dropping out of first-team plans.
Now it appears both moves have been given the green light in a breathtaking double deal that will provoke debate among the Celtic fans.
