Green, Murray and transubstantiation

You couldn’t script that lot.  Charles-this is probably the worst Rangers team you have ever seen-Green is back, like a dose of something you never wanted first time around, appointed late on the day Rangers International receive a request for an Emergency General Meeting from rebel (hmm) shareholders.  The reason given to the Stock Market for his appointment was nothing to do with the EGM request, so don’t go implying it was a reactionary panic measure.

And who is behind the EGM request?  None other than Paul Murray, one of the few responsible for ensuring that Rangers FC (in liquidation) ran their affairs in good order.  His credentials for the position of Ibrox powerbroker are impeccable.

Before the news of the EGM was released, the Herald suggested, “Some informed sources believe the club will run out of money during this season”, as the Celtic online community has been asserting since their interims were published.

And yes, you noticed the transubstantiation from club to company.  I think it goes:

A club will run out of money.
A company ran out of money.

Keep the league flag flying high.

    TWISTS N TURNS. 1307

Probably, but I’m investing in a firm which specialises in tackety boots.

I’ll be wearing them when I jump on their coffin to endure they’re deid.

    Not getting caught twice.

The Lotte thing is baffling me, obviously what is coming out is all true, and still silence.

Some of what has been revealed should have seen a few in court, others out of a job etc, yet they are carrying on as if nothing has happened.

The condoning of outright criminality, from the police, the powers who run the game, woukd not happen in any other european country, yet in scotland, they can do what they want with total impunity.

That is what bothers me re Lotte, they are getting away with it.

I will go as far to wager that Lotte will be silenced.

  3. John Keane a man who let’s his actions do his talking, thank you John for your massive contribution to the club I love, enjoy your day Quiet Man…

I have a vague recollection of Alan pasco racing round that track.

The Celtic support have been taken over by apathy, understandable in a weird sort of way, but, we are the ones who have been cheated more than most.

Canamalar is doing his bit, fair play to him, and hopefully he is supported and the suits don’t fob him off.

As for the msm, shamefull, but in their defence, they are scared to say or print the truth, Jack Irvine will have sh1t on all the editors and jurnos.

They are just taking the easy option.

CANAMALAR’s efforts deserve the support of us all.

Sadly,I believe he is still short of his target numbers.

    So fire in,fellas,with yer support,please!

  11. Off oot to the wee brothers stag do, dunno what eejit organised it for today but hey ho

Would all the ML Bhoys remember flares are banned at Celtic Park, as are tank tops and Doc marten boots.

    very true

its us who were cheated out of three years CL income

its us who should be well on the way to 9 in a row (although we maybe still are)

its us who are allowing the MSM to call the shots

I personally doubt that the celtic fans of previous generations would have stood by and did nothing the way we have

in fact it took the support of the OTHER spl teams to stop the huns getting straight back into the SPL

What kinduva Celtic supporter goes for a stag do over a flag day?

Better have the game on where you are,or he can whistle for his wedding present….

Short, not enough might as well be none.

I cant think of a single thing to say in defence of the MSM

    Jack Irvine or not

they are a spineless disgrace to their profession

as are the Scottish administrators of the game

they should be ashamed and so should we for allowing them to get this far

  16. Bmcuw

And 3 are travelling up from lodge winning too…. Should be 4 but my brother short arms deep pockets has to wash his wife’s hair or summat.

Hope you have a great day, mate.

If the Kilwinning lads are struggling to remember their train times, drop me a line.

Fear of your and your familys safety would be a major contributer imo.

I don’t agree with them, but I understand it.

What I don’t understand is how the people who control the clubs are allowing it to happen.

The armageddon fear factor has been blow out of the water, yet they still stay silent, that bothers me big time.

Che – obviously the Best Man….God help your bro! Have a good one! :-)

  20. While I get a great kick from their ongoing dire straits, could anyone explain how they can buy all these trialists, when heading for insolvency? I can appreciate it is to hasten their going into administration but why would agents allow their players to get taken advantage like this? Surely, they can see the writing on the wall, like everyone else. If their players lose out, don’t the agents?

  21. The Boy Jinky on

I have wondered why a players agent and legal advisor would allow their client to sign a deal with such a club and scenario.

  22. Enjoy your day everyone who is in Glasgow, wish I could be there but will be with you in spirit over here on the continent.

  23. I'm Neil Lennon (tamrabam) on

    jinky/koln celt

you would have to imagine that the agents have built in some generous terams and conditions which would allow their assets (players) to leave if/when sevco stopped paying wages or was failing commercially
