Greg and Daizen taking time

196

Greg Taylor has earned the right to take time before deciding what is best for him and his young family.  At 27, his next contract will significantly determine his wealth and lifestyle after football.  A few years on a higher salary, paying lower taxes, could see him enjoy better things in the years ahead.  Working in the sun is not for us all, though.

Daizen Maeda is also entitled to take time to consider his future.  He has two years left on a Celtic contract and an offer before him which is significantly better than the one Greg has from Celtic.  The Japanese and Korean contingent at Celtic has been getting smaller in recent times, Daizen’s ties here are sparce.  All we can offer is hard cash (before 48% tax – it’s always an issue for footballers) and the prospect of Champions League glory nights.

It would be an enormous boost if he signed a new deal, and for some of us, a surprise.

Bit unlucky with Alan Rough being out injured but pretty dire stuff all the same.

Lol – decided to watch the rugby on TNT and tuned in to see the SFA 11 being beaten 3-1 by Iceland 😂.

Even the post match commentary is amateurish.

  10. They shall have visions of massed ranked hordes blaring alleluias from piss reeked terraces. They will testify to blind unhearers who blaspheme the name of names and herald a news that Stein did not blow them apart. One will raise hands and scream I was there and scared souls shall rasp me too and we will know!
