Greg and Daizen taking time

196

Greg Taylor has earned the right to take time before deciding what is best for him and his young family.  At 27, his next contract will significantly determine his wealth and lifestyle after football.  A few years on a higher salary, paying lower taxes, could see him enjoy better things in the years ahead.  Working in the sun is not for us all, though.

Daizen Maeda is also entitled to take time to consider his future.  He has two years left on a Celtic contract and an offer before him which is significantly better than the one Greg has from Celtic.  The Japanese and Korean contingent at Celtic has been getting smaller in recent times, Daizen’s ties here are sparce.  All we can offer is hard cash (before 48% tax – it’s always an issue for footballers) and the prospect of Champions League glory nights.

It would be an enormous boost if he signed a new deal, and for some of us, a surprise.

  1. ‘real irish’

You mean the typing pishtriots that were nowhere near the struggle for irish unity

Now puppeteered by their unionist handlers in the north they are doling out to immigrants and refugees the same racist shoite generations of irish met when coming here.

    No blacks

    No dogs

    No irish.

No racist is ever near being real irish.

Let alone being a real man.

The same racist vermin attacked Celtic fans celebrating our title win on day of St Mirren game..

The ‘real irish’ gave them less than 1% of the electoral vote

Keep lying down and taking it racistrentboys we know who is giving you plenty and they are not irish.

You should really get out of Blant’R a day,you are crippled inside racist scum.

  3. The real Irish who live in Ireland 2025.

Not the fake Glesga Irish fae hunners a miles away who live in the Ireland of over 100 years ago wearing dead heroes clothes so that they have a sort of identity to cling onto after they have helped the Snp halfwits to wreck Scotland since 2005 when Labour were punished for becoming warmongers!

The real Irish asked for the plastic commando song book to be dropped, on CQN’s pages as well too, and the fake Irish showed their real Glesga Irish colours by saying, “We’ve got an identity as well you know, singing about yooz real Irish, so sorry, canny help yeez, byeeee!”

“F your peace process” say the dim tim empty heads, just before they went along with the cover up of the same club lie.

    For identity reasons you know.

    Just noticed your post

    Condolences

It’s never nice losing a friend

He’s in a better place without a doubt

    RIP

  6. Lost a good friend 5 years ago…a fit and healthy golfer…we played 3 times a week

After a game he complained of a sore stomach…2 days later he was dead…devastating doesn’t describe it…

  7. My friend had just turned 60…I talked him into getting a free bus pass…he loved it…he and his wife had a tradition of hitting the town every Saturday afternoon for drinks…done it for forty years….he loved the fact it cost him nothing on the bus but his missus who was a year younger had to pay the fare…he was the main reason I decided to retire…he never had the chance to really enjoy older age..

  8. You know…it’s a shame..that some of the posters on this site whom I’ve conversed with over the years have suddenly become influenced/indoctrinated by a certain group to no longer have the balls to converse or interact with my musings…probably the main reason for the slow demise of this particular blog…

I know last night was a nothing friendly….but that dinosaur Steve Clarke’s record as manager bears scrutiny…something like a 43% win rate. Gotta wonder what the FTSFA considers acceptable

Lennon Miller done well when he came on last night, hit a few lovely long range passes

  14. From the BBC Gossip column so make of it what you will:

“Motherwell midfielder Lennon Miller says his biggest ambition is to play in the Champions League as the 18-year-old bids to make his Scotland debut in friendlies against Iceland and Leichtenstein. (Scotland National Team on YouTube)”

‘That doesn’t mean Celtic needs to wait til the last minute before securing a usable contingency.’

We well prepared for the sale of Kyogo just a few months ago. Right?

the club cup that rangers were going to

They turned it down as their demands for 100m were not met. The world football federation claimed that thd tournament was a poorer competition without Scotland second best team. After great deliberation they decided they would go ahead with the tournament & hope they can create the great atmosphere they will miss without the rangers fans telling the locals to ‘go back to your own country’
