Grown-up footballers, Mourinho accused of cheating, Linfield lucre

371

When did footballers get all grown-up? Jonny Hayes offer to pay for new Aberdeen strips which had his name emblazoned on them, before his transfer to Celtic, is just such a thoroughly decent thing to do. He added a condition that the strips he bought back were donated to a worthy cause.

Small gestures go a long way in the game. I suspect this guy will surprise a few on the upside.

Linfield want to face Celtic at an early kick-off on 11 July for financial reasons, instead of taking the second leg to Belfast a week later, when, you have to assume, they expect the competitive element to have gone from the tie. 11 July is no less combustible in Belfast than the 12th (it is technically more combustible).

Kick-off at 9am, let the football fans watch their team in without the distraction of Belfast’s nocturnal July activates, or switch the first leg to Glasgow. And then hold the second leg at 9am in Belfast.

Jose Mourinho was thing morning accused of being a cheat! The Spanish tax authorities are 14 years and one month behind Celtic fans. Pay your tax or Karma will get you every time.

That’s pecisely my worry regarding Plavsic-IF we are interested in him.

If he has a great game on Friday night then the big guns will move in and we will be pushed aside.

‘Hi Ern what do you mean by neutral as regards this game?’

    ##

    Hi Heb.

It occurred to me that there might be some mullah to be made by the huns in offering their ground as a ‘neutral’ venue to Linfield, thereby obviating all the possible problems with having the game played in Belfast, at a time that is so important to so many Ulster Scots and, indeed, Scots.

I’m sure if the game had to be played somewhere other than Belfast, Govan would be Linfield’s preferred choice. They would feel right at home there.

You are suggesting, I think, that a high profile Queen’s Counsel and leading member of the Faculty of Advocates, was done away with because of his outspoken advocacy on behalf of Celtic FC, and that the crime has been covered up.

As I say, it’s tinfoil hat stuff, and probably quite offensive to his family and friends, if they were daft enough to pay it any attention.

  7. Well, walk along the beach with the Dug time.Frightens the locals,so she does. The guys fishing along the beach give her their wee tiddlers to eat.Think she has got a wee protection racket going.65 Kilos of sheer terror for the Turks.LOL.

  8. It seems that the Russian guy who bought Castle Grant after it was repossessed by Craig Whyte’s bank has been done for some kind of switcheroo type fraud.

It seems to be all the rage these days.

What about Willie McCrae, David Kelly etc

State collusion is active as you know.

Well within the range of possibilities for anybody to be…er removed, if need be.

Im sure you are well aware of that.

    ###

Willie McCrae was undoubtedly suicide. He was under huge emotional and professional pressure at the time.

David Kelly’s mother, I believe, committed suicide. A family history of suicide appears to have a bearing on the likelihood of an individual committing suicide. He was also under huge pressure, not of his own making, at the time of his death.

  14. Why all this hoo-haa over the Linfield Game.

Ulster I’m sure has as many, if not more Celtic Supporters per head, than Scotland.

Never been there (though my gene pool flows through there) but if seems to me that these Bhoys and Ghirls are well capable of looking after themselves.

Will be a Great Occasion for our Irish Fans.

Yeah, thats a perfectly reasonable take on these events.

However, we cant be in any doubt that the state will resort to extreme measures if required.

And the possibility of state collusion remains.

I could name any number of these events, no doubt in my mind that the state are responsible for more than a few.

Willie McCrae, isnt as clear cut as you might think.

    Kelly, very suspicious imo

And what happened to Daniel Morgan?

So many to choose from, and im not a great believer in coincidence.

    From the DR

“Rangers signings Eduardo Herrera and Carlos Pena pictured jetting into UK to seal Ibrox deals”

Innit cute, just like the good old days. No doubt-just as in the good old days-they’ll be expecting the club to find them luxury accommodation in Helensburgh,Bothwell,Costorphine.

    Pat Finucaine?

As you say,too many to mention.

I vaguely recall a journalist from the early 80s who was too close to a story. Campbell? Even his aged aunt disappeared.

Look what happened when THAMES TV showed their expose of the Gibraltar shootings. Thatcher removed their licence to broadcast.

The shoot-to-kill investigation by the highly-respected John Stalker?

Establishment didn’t like that he had the temerity to actually investigate it and destroyed the guy.

I’m sure you could mention many more.
