GUIDETTI DEMANDS DOUBLE FROM DUTCH

CELTIC’S on-loan striker John Guidetti is demanding £30,000-per-week to join Feyenoord in the summer.
That is DOUBLE the present wage structure of the Rotterdam side, according to respected Dutch magazine Voetbal International.
And reports also indicate there is a two-week deadline on their offer to convince Guidetti to return to the club where he had a successful loan spell in season 2011/12 when he scored 20 goals in 23 games.
Feyenoord have warned they will look at other targets if the don’t get an answer from the 22-year-old frontman who has scored only three goals this year.
Hoops boss Ronny Deila is also waiting for the Swede to make up his mind while Inter Milan and Marseille ‘continue to monitor the situation’ if Guidetti’s agent is to believed. An earlier attempt to link the player to Southampton was quickly shot down by the Premier League side.
Celtic’s enthusiasm for signing the player – which was reflected in a very lucrative deal being offered at the end of last year, may not be available to the player who has failed to live up to the reputation he set for himself.
Even in the mad world of modern football it is hard to believe that there is a club daft enough to pay Guidetti £30,000 per week!
