Gutter Life

Newco’s narcotic-type dependency on ever-more-creative PR was illustrated on BBC Radio Scotland last night by Michael Stewart, who highlighted ludicrously false attempted murder stories fed to the newspapers, followed by rushed and selectively edited TV interviews when the truth became apparent.

Meanwhile, every other football club in Scotland goes about their business, where PR prepare information ahead of games, like any normal entity.

On this occasion, two Celtic season ticket holders (quite rightly) reported to the police an incident, observed only by a handful of Celtic fans, by another fan at last month’s defeat.

Celtic fans’ abhorrence of intolerance is commendable, we hold ourselves to a higher standard.  The club cannot cut across this with denials or deflections. Others have exploited that police report shamelessly, but that is Gutter Life.

  4. After yesterday’s subtitles fiasco, newco and Sky say that they had nothing to do with them. As Sky did the interview and broadcast it, it is inconceivable they do not know who did the subtitles.

My take on it would be that the questions were prepared by Level 5 / Traynor. I am guessing that Morelos was also told how to answer the questions to garner most sympathy. Maybe Morelos didn’t follow the script as planned hence the discrepancy, or he didn’t say anything spicy enough so it was sexed up with Level 5 input.

The boy didn’t actually say anything controversial at all. The only club he mentioned by name in relation to abuse was Aberdeen, and that was well documented at the time (his mother and matress).

Impossible to believe that Traynor is so dumb that he didn’t think Spanish-speaking people would notice it was a load of mierda.

I noticed it straight away, checked it with my Venezuelan wife and she confirmed it.

  6. So it transpires; wherever scene Shved explodes onto ,it won’t be the Europa league.

This signing and subsequent actions ( or lack of them ) is extremely perplexing.

    HH and COYBIG tonight.

  8. I reckon El Buffalo was schooled what to say. The sub Titles were pre prepared but old Buffalo didn’t stick to the plan. The guy’s listening to him hadn’t a clue what he was saying so between them they made a pig’s ear of the whole thing,

However entertaining all this shite is, the laughing will stop if we don’t get 3 points tonight.

We are now at the business end of the season, this is the time for Champions to flex their muscles & make the decisive charge to win the Title.

Tonight is huge , whatever happens in the Bigot Dome is beyond our control, we need to bring our A game to Fir Park, 3 points is the minimum requirement but a top display & a couple of extra goals will sicken them.

  9. The only downside of Celtic progressing in the Europe League is that the fans will have to either remortgage or sell a kidney to attend games in the latter stages.

    £42 for an adult…

Probably be less grumpy if we used that income to buy a player……or some state of the art medical equipment.

  10. BIG WAVY,

For 20 quid a month,I have Celtic TV,in HD.Only this year I switched to HD.I have to say,the picture quality is fantastic. If living in England, and not attending games,it works out ,5 quid a week.I have every sports channel here through my box,but occasionally it can be dodgy, not to a great extent, but I would rather pay the fiver just to make sure.My Kodi has a stream called Zannax, and SS,BT,are in full HD,with streams near perfect.
