And so it goes on……..hacks like,Spiers,English,Jackson skirting round the ‘what if the ftsfa have something to hide?’ mantra knowing full well they have, but do not possess the cojones to inform the public otherwise.

To live with that mindset and be well rewarded is shameful………….’what does it profit a man……………………

    Thank God I’m an atheist.

  4. What I will state in this post may appear somewhat odd in making any comparison but……

In yesterdays Sunday Mail one of JacksHUNS colleagues wrote an ” article” that should have had the Title ” What If” ?

Then again there was NO journo name credited to the “article”, so there’s a possibility it could be JacksHUN himself ?

The midfielder could miss the Old Firm game at Ibrox – if he’s reported for a incident with Hamilton defender Giannis Skondras.

Celtic skipper Scott Brown could miss the Old Firm game at Ibrox – if he’s reported for a kick at Hamilton defender Giannis Skondras.

The midfielder’s challenge was raised by former Parkhead striker Chris Sutton and ex-Rangers boss Ally McCoist on BT Sport during Friday night’s 4-1 win at the Superseal Stadium.

Both pundits believed Brown was lucky not to be shown a red card by ref Don Robertson after catching Skondras on the head.

Celtic’s Scott Brown appears to flick out at Hamilton’s Ioannis Skondras

    Scott Brown

And if the incident is reported to SFA compliance officer Tony McGlennan, Brown would face a sweat over a potential ban.

If he was hit with more than a one-game suspension it could rule him out of the clash with Rangers on September 23.

Whistler Robertson didn’t punish Brown and the Celtic midfielder said at full-time: “I don’t know what happened. He (Skondras) was moaning about me bumping him in the face but there was nothing in it.”

Celtic captain Scott Brown set to sign new one-year contract extension keeping him at Parkhead until 2019

    ……………………………………………

    Now my point is this,

The incident occurred on Friday, they print this ” article” on Sunday, so IF someone reported Scott Brown to the Compliance Officer for investigation….is that not ” Raking over Old Coals” ?

Or in JacksHUNs words today…” Would that not be opening up old wounds” ?

Again in line with JacksHUNS words today..” ” for Scott Brown to be reported would that not cause damage to the Scottish game, as it would appear to show the world that Scottish football is full of thugs, IF Scott Brown was guilty” ?

Lastly…this ” What If” article that appeared yesterday….again why is there NO Journos name credited with it ?

Is this secret journo in the process of reporting this to the Compliance Officer himself, and he wishes to remain anon ?

By all means call me Paranoid………..but whenever I have been accused of such in the past I always reply…” No, its JUSTIFIABLE PARANOIA ” !

  5. In a sense Jackson is sort of plea bargaining.

Don’t take the titles away and there will be an investigation.

If that investigation confirms skullduggery then justice would demand title stripping but but if we really really want our game to be put on a more healthy path then the question of mercy and forgiveness must come up.

Why anyone would want to retain titles won under such dubious circumstances is beyond me, but if the investigation into the UEFA licence shows dishonesty, who should be punished in football terms? (and TD fraud has most certainly taken place).

If it cannot be Oldco because they ARE Oldco, then logically Newco are not Oldco and in football terms cannot lay claim to titles won before 2012.

UEFA FFP Article 12 backs this up so if the tainted titles are left but the count for RIFC starts at zero AND of course the SFA’s role not just in 201, but in the years thereafter when UEFA Licence questions were asked by Res12 but not satisfactorily answered, is properly scrutinised from a lesson learning angle and finally guilty parties kicked out of football, I would be OK not removing those toxic titles.

  6. Actually thought Jackasses piece was reasonably balanced.

    Damascus moment for him.

Stripping titles, no need. Lawwell will know that too.

Eventually those titles will be public testimony for posterity to what they did.

In a couple of years the same club mentality will be firmly reversed as Thems try’n distance themselves from their history.

Oh dear Keith – “crimes which were carried out in their name”?

    Errr, not by them though?

  8. My appetite for justice remains very healthy but, for the moment, I am thinking of team selection for tomorrow.

    Gordon

    Lustig Simunovic Ajer Tierney

    Roberts Brown Ntchamp Armstrong Sinclair

    Griffiths.

Tough call between Forrest and Roberts but I feel Patrick`s extra confidence is an important factor here.

McGregor is one of my favoured players but, for this tie, I feel the extra industry of Armstrong wins him the place. Rogic offers something different but I feel the solidity of Ntcham will be more beneficial.

Od course, Edouard and Dembele could also come on at some stage. A fit Moussa in particular could offer something significant. I will be interested in what Brendan decides.

  9. Auldheid………….

That’s the bigger issue here for scoddish football imo.

In order for faith and credibility to be restored and for the game to have a purpose, Scotland and ” The Rainjurs” collective mentality have to accept and understand that “winning” by their underhand way renders thur titles worthless………..

Oh dear Keith – “crimes which were carried out in their name”?

    Errr, not by them though?

    ………………………….

That statement alone by JacksHUN is an admission that the smsm know there were ” Crimes committed”………….so why hasn’t Journos like JacksHUN ever conducted any serious investigative journalism into ALL the Crimes and Issues ?

The above is of course a Rhetorical question as we all know the reasons why journos haven’t told the truth.

  13. Big Cup Winners.

I wouldn’t get hung up on the symbology, just recognition of facts. A matter that lies in hands of SFA and SPFL.

  14. Ive said this ALL along since 2012 including to some Huns faces…………

“IF Celtic FC had conducted their affairs by way of EBT’s, DOS and being delusional enough to claim to be the same Celtic, the Huns would have wanted everyone at Celtic FC locked up in the feckin Tower of London for TREASON, by not paying Lizzies Taxes” !

Again at the weekend the put themselves in pole position as the feckin standard bearers of the British Armed Forces, and there are those in Britain who are too stupid to realise how hypocritical all this ” support” for the armed forces really is.

Its a continuous attempt by those at Oldco and Newco to be seen as British and Proud etc, etc.

This is the same Orange mob who would battle and shoot at British Troops in Ireland.

This is the same Orange mob that deliberately didn’t pay her Majestys Taxes, for their own gain.

This is the very same Orange mob who stole funds that were collected by selling feckin Poppies.

By deliberately NOT paying Her Majestys Taxes….British Troops were sent to fight in Iraq without the proper equipment ( Boots and Rifles etc) due to lack of money according to the British Government at the time ?

Loyal to Her Majesty and her Crown….don’t feckin think so !

Hypocritical, Robbing, Lying Bassa’s the lot of THEM.

Interesting take on events from Radar. Rangers liquidation was ALL down to the EBTs?

Were they not saying at one time that it was a “phantom tax bill” and the liquidation need not have happened?

Was it not all Craig Whyte’s fault before? Oh, except he has been cleared in a court of law!

Oh, and be sure not to mention all the other overspending, the bank debt, the bail out by Murray’s company, the duped “investors”. No – it was ONLY the EBTs!

That league is fast becoming a joke! You bring in a guy to develop a new style of play and give him four games?

Ridiculous. Joke of a club. Where exactly do they expect to be???

  19. GLASSTWOTHIRDSFULL on 11TH SEPTEMBER 2017 11:43 AM

Absolutely, and most of the SMSM outlets are going with the ‘Celtic want EBT probe’ line. That is only part of what PL has asked for in his letters.

  20. I don’t rate the works of Coldplay therefore I tend not to waste my time with the works of Coldplay.

Here we go again with the hatred and bitterness from the most vile and rancid club in the land.

Make no mistake, this is not just ‘Espanyolification’, this ongoing attempt to destroy us.

If we are not a force of any kind, they have all the tools they need to move to another league, Scum fc would be just too massive for this little country.

I think this is part of the ongoing plan, Liewell and Regan were mates from way back, i don’t think that now he has tossed him under a bus. They want total domination.its so close they can smell it.

We need someone who can go toe to toe with this evil maniac PL.

  27. De Boer sacked after 4 games and replaced by Roy Hodgson is a consequence of the obscene amounts of money being pumped into EPL. Palace Chairman has decided that, after 4 games, he can’t take the risk of De Boers ‘foreign’ style of play causing his team to be relegated and losing out on potentially hundreds of millions of pounds of TV money. It’s barely a sport down there any more.

Back to the serious stuff……I’m in agreement with Hot Smoked and his line-up for tomorrow night. Would have picked the same team for the same reasons, and for me it has to be Ajer at the back with Jozo. I like Bitton, and his languid style, but think he’s too inexperienced, and sometimes too casual for this game. Ajer may be young, but has much more experience in the position than Nir, and Mikael Lustig doesn’t have the pace to play there, but does read the game better.

Anything can happen at CP – no predictions on a score, but as ever, hopeful that our team can win. Would take a draw now though. :-)

  28. Total guff from Jackson.Deflecting facts in all directions, trying vainly to muddy the filthy waters, created by The Huns,SFA,SPFL.
